Pacman Headed North

Here's a name that I haven't heard in a while. After being released by the Dallas Cowboys Adam "Pacman" Jones basically disappeared. Well Pacman has reappeared, in Canada.

According to sources, Pacman Jones has signed a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Pacman is hoping to use the CFL has a stepping stone to return to an NFL team. Think Rickey Williams tenure with Toronto a couple of years ago.

I wonder how many strip clubs are in Winnipeg? Also I think the Blue Bombers are a bad name for a team that Pacman is on.

ESPN finally takes us into that fateful night when Pacman Jones "made it rain" in a Las Vegas casino. Warning! If you have children, then they really shouldn't be watching this video. This is definitely a must watch.

Pacman Up To His Old Tricks

No he didn't make it rain in a stripclub. He didn't get in a fight with his own bodygaurd. He did though get in a fight with one of the contestants from 'Pros vs. Joes'.

One of the better collisions was one at the goal line between Jones and a "Joe" named Dan Adams, a 5-foot-10 sales rep from Boston who played linebacker at Holy Cross. He set an NCAA single-game record with a staggering 21 solo tackles against Colgate.

Anyway, Adams stuck Jones at the goal line, jarring loose the football. It was pretty funny, because Jones had been talking trash to that point, referring to Adams as "Waterboy." A few minutes after the hit, the two exchanged punches and had to be separated.

"He hit me 10 yards out of bounds, kind of a cheap shot," Adams said. "I couldn't sit there and not retaliate. You've got to have some pride and dignity."

Also Pacman didn't care how he came off on camera.

"I guess that's the person he wants to be," Adams said. "But I guess in his defense, people kind of get caught up in the heat of the moment."
You have to love this cat. He lights up stripclubs, gets suspended often by Sheriff Goodell, during his suspension he wrestles, comes back with the Cowboys, gets released by the Cowboys, and then gets in a fight on the set of a T.V. show.

T.O. may be crazy on the field and in the locker room, but I never remember him doing any of these things.

Good luck Pacman, finding another job in the NFL.

Cowboys Release Pacman Jones

According to ESPN.com, the Dallas Cowboys have released cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones.

The Cowboys traded for Pacman during the offseason, when Jones was still suspended by the league. He was once again suspended by the league during the season for six games and missed one game because of an injury.

ESPN will be running an "Outside the Lines" piece on Jones on Sunday regarding another strip club shooting, this one happening in Atlanta.

According to the piece, Pacman ordered a hit on three Atlanta men outside of the strip club. While the Atlanta police haven't questioned Jones because no one saw the shooting a man said Jones was the one who ordered the hit.

This apparently happened during Pacman's season long suspension in 2007. The league knew about the incident, but since Jones hasn't been questioned yet about the case, they did add more punishment to Jones' suspension.

I am sure more will come out. Release
