Ayelet Zurer to start your mourning. She is an Israeli actress who stars in this weekends movie "Angels & Demons". Before she began her acting career, she was in the Israeli army. After her service she moved to New York to begin her acting career. I've heard some negative reviews about "Angels & Demons." Guess we will see how it does at the box office. "Star Trek" was a great movie though.

Ramirez tested positive for: Sexual Enhancer*

Manny Ramirez's 50-game suspension is because Manny was using a sexual enhancer. Via Yahoosports....

"A source close to Manny Ramirez said Thursday that the illegal substance for which the Los Angeles Dodgers slugger tested positive was not “an agent customarily used for performance enhancing.”

At least not on the baseball diamond. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the substance is supposed to boost sex drive. It is not Viagra, but a substance that treats the cause rather providing a temporary boost in sexual performance, the source said."

Wow! Manny must be taking some type of women's fertility drug.

And if he is using this drug, then he had to have taken steroids at some point. I remember reading "Game of Shadows" and the book talking about how Barry Bonds had to use a fertility drug to restart his testosterone. They take fertility drugs because steroids have opposite affects on people. When a man takes steroids, they lose their testosterone and gain estrogen. And the opposite for women.

So Ramirez at one point had to be taking some type of steroids. Why else would he need a fertility drug?

UPDATE: Yep I was right. Manny tested positive for a fertility drug. Via ESPN....

However, two sources told ESPN's T.J. Quinn and Mark Fainaru-Wada that the drug used by Ramirez is HCG -- human chorionic gonadotropin. HCG is a women's fertility drug typically used by steroid users to restart their body's natural testosterone production as they come off a steroid cycle. It is similar to Clomid, the drug Bonds, Giambi and others used as clients of BALCO.

A source with intimate knowledge of steroids told ESPN that a male athlete usually uses HCG after a cycle of steroids because steroids often shut down the testosterone-making ability of the testicles. HCG restores their capacity to make testosterone. The source said that some males may use HCG in lieu of steroids also. HCG by itself can provide a substantial boost in the body's own testosterone, and this may provide some performance-enhancement benefits.

How freaking amazing is that. You have to be paid big bucks to inject yourself with the same type drug the Octomom used to have so many kids.

I mean take a step back for a moment and think about this. A man comes up to you and says "inject yourself with this and you will add a couple more points to your batting average." So you take the drugs but your manhood starts faltering. So you have to take a WOMEN'S fertility drug to jump start your manhood. Just amazing to think about.

This story keeps getting better and better. I will keep you updated throughout the day.

BREAKING NEWS: Manny Ramirez Has Finally Signed With The Dodgers

(It's fitting that AIG sponsors the Dodgers. Because they will need a bailout once Ramirez goes sour on them)

According to ESPN, Manny Ramirez has finally signed a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After multiple failed attempts, Ramirez and the Dodgers agreed to a two-year, $45 million deal on Tuesday.

The Dodgers announced last week that agent Scott Boras had declined the team's fourth offer to the star outfielder -- a one-year, $25 million contract with a $20 million player option for 2010.
All I have to say, it's about time. You talk about a drama that I was tired of, it was this one. Now the crappy Dodger fans have a reason to show up to their crappy stadium.

I am just wondering if Vegas has odds as to when Manny will go Manny and decides he doesn't want to play anymore.
