I Guess She is Riding High Now!

I guess she is riding high now. Hey-oh! In all seriousness former mountain bike champion Melissa Giove won't be riding a bike, unicycle, or pickup for a long time.

"The Missile" was arrested in upstate New York in her pickup truck with 200 pounds of marijuana in her truck. When the police went to her house there was another 200 pounds of weed, a million dollars in the closet, and a machine to count money, you have probably seen this machine in the movie 'Scarface'.

Here's the best part of the story though.

In court Thursday, public defender Tim Austin said the drugs and money were planted in Giove's truck, possibly by police.
That's great! 400 pounds of drugs and million dollars were planted by the police. Like they have a huge stash of Panama Red and cash just lying around. I don't think so. And why would the try and frame her? Because she is an ex-mountain bike champ? I don't think so. She is a mountain bike competitor. Of course she is smoking the herb. I would say about 80% of the extreme athletes kick back with a bowl. I wouldn't expect anything else.

What ever happens to this lady, as you can see with these pictures of her, she looks like a classy lady.

4:20 MAN!

Today is like a national holiday for stoners, tweakers, Fish fans, and Cal Berkley students.

There are certain athletes who like to smoke Mary Jane. And we all know certain entertainers who have made a living out of the fact they smoke weed(See: Cheech & Chong). And today is a big day for them all.

Ricky Williams: He failed the NFL substance-abuse policy four times. When he retired in 2004, Williams actually moved to a place called Grass Valley, California. He studied an ancient system of holistic medicine while he was there. His journey took so many twists and turns, that I couldn't possibly name all of them here. I do bet though he will be lighting up today.

Micheal Phelps: Recently photographed doing a face plant into a bong. He might need to relax today, after his sponsors dumped him.

Nate Newton: The former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman, was once pulled over with over 200 pounds of weed in his car.

Sherman Williams: There is something about former Dallas Cowboys, who played for the team in the 90's. Well in 2000 he was sentenced to seven years in prison for three counts of conspiracy to distribute marijuana and a separate plea for passing counterfeit currency.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: Was arrested by U.S. customs agents at the Toronto airport. He just paid a fine. But of course he needs to smoke a little weed, for his eye sight.

Orlando Cepeda: Yes even the Baby Bull was arrested and charged with smuggling 160 pounds of marijuana from Puerto Rico to Miami in 1976. A lot of people speculate this hindered his opportunity of being elected into the baseball hall of fame. Eventually the veterans committee voted him in. That didn't stop his legal problems though.

J.R. Rider: Isiah is my favorite athlete arrested for marijuana possession. In 2006, police observed him in his car attempting to smoke weed from a soda can. He was arrested for possession.

To all you stoners out there, blaze away today. But it still makes you a loser.

Best of the Weekend

Well I am back from my binger this weekend. Really looks like I didn't miss anything except Oklahoma losing to Texas in college basketball along with their stud Blake Griffin going down with an injury.

Also I missed Jim Calhoun going off on some reporter. I always heard Calhoun could be an old grouch, I guess this proves it.

While I did party this weekend, I didn't take it this far.

I hope all of you had a great weekend, and be thankful you were not this guy.
