  1. I'm rooting for the Spurs, but I have a feeling this is going to be a Heat blow out by the end of the game.

  2. Same here. If Spurs weather the early Heat storm, they'll be fine. If Lebron loses, he's just going to be another Wilt and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't get the MJ comparisons, Lebron is more like Wilt.

    1. I'm more worried about the Heat storm when San Antonio goes to the bench. The Splitter/Manu combo out there is when the Heat goes on their big runs.

    2. Oh god. I don't want to use that bench. The last time a road team won a NBA Finals Game 7, 1978.

  3. I don't know what my gut feeling is yet until I see how Manu looks at first and how long Pop keeps him in the game.

  4. I just hope the Spurs don't pull a Kings in game 7 and forget to grab rebounds and how to shoot FT's.

  5. I wish Rene Rancourt could sing every national anthem for every big game.

  6. Where did they find this kid from?

  7. I would trade Jesse Williams for Craig Sager every time. Heck, I'd trade him for courtside with Regis Pierre McGuire.

  8. /Heat fans leave

  9. I love a good 1978 Bullets reference.

  10. I can't believe none of you were interested in Joe Blanton's start on Tuesday night.

  11. I can't stop gauging my ears when Buck Martinez talks about TWTW.

  12. Can't Lone Ranger come out already for we don't have to watch these promos?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Gary Neal has never seen a shot he doesn't like.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tony Parker has the looks of the man who has mentally checked out. He needs to stop worrying about something.

  15. I hope to hell these teams get over their jitters sooner rather than later.

  16. If this game keeps up the way it's played out so far, I'm turning on the Marlins-Giants game.

  17. Here's the Splitter/Manu lineup. Here comes the big Heat run.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So, why are they projecting images of the Spurs on the side of AA Arena again?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I still hate Battier, even after all these years.

  20. There comes a point I much rather play Bonner than Splitter.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bonner would force Bosh to stay on him. Surprised, Pop hasn't gone to him more often.

  22. I'm glad Carl Ripken had time for tonight's game.

  23. Cal Ripken has morphed into a Miami cougar.

    1. The problem with Bonner though is his defense isn't very good.

    2. Only downside but I hide him on Bosh.

  25. 3rd foul on Bosh. An interesting development.

  26. One of these teams are going to go on a big run to seal the deal.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Stop stealing from Michael Cole, Breen.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This game is slowly picking up steam. Spurs are going to have to knock down a few 3's in the 2nd half.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Heat turning the ball over giving the Spurs extra possessions don't help. And Spurs making an effort to get inside and go to the line with a whistle happy crew.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Jalen Rose: "More convo next"

They need a host badly. Rose is an embarrassment.

  31. Magic:"If the stars of the Heat play well and stars of Spurs play well ..watch out"

/And you people want to get rid of Simmons?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love Bill Simmons. I think he's the best one there...by a mile on ESPN.

  33. I so miss the crispness of the Michigan/Louisville championship game.

    ReplyDelete
  34. GET OFF JVG'S FOOTBALL FIELD!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I so miss Marv ragging on Reggie's awfulness.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That was terrible from Danny Green. He needs a pull up mid-range jumper.

    ReplyDelete
  37. John Starks can't believe what he's seeing from Danny Green in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  38. "How long do you ride Danny Green?" - JVG

    ReplyDelete
  39. Too much dribbling by Parker.

    ReplyDelete
  40. If the Spurs win Kawhi Leonard will probably not be MVP and that makes me so sad.

    ReplyDelete
  41. LBJ is here to take the game over.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm getting a little tired of Patty Mills waving that damn towel.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Manu has been effective tonight. Bosh hasn't. That's going to be the difference.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The defense in this game has been absolutely phenomenal.

    1. I'm not used to watching this type of defense in Sacramento......

      Delete
    2. I'm used to watching it in Philadelphia. Too bad the offense was a dull parade of long 2s and Spencer Hawes long 2s and 3s.

      Delete
    3. With the Kings it was hero ball by everyone. Seriously they never heard of passing.

      Delete
    4. Doug Collins never met an ISO he didn't like

      Delete
  45. Even Bill Russell is bored with this game.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh god, not the rerun of the Raps/Wiz with the blow horn. Damn, clock is fixed.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Last quarter of the season. Can't hold anything back now.

    ReplyDelete
  48. San Antonio has been terrible grabbing rebounds.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Battier finally missed. I'm celebrating.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think Kris lost his pants over that Battier miss.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Clear path foul is the right call there.

    ReplyDelete
  52. This game is over. Heat win.

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is over. Keith called it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Bench Parker. You have to, he's clearly effected by Lebron and a liability on D.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Correct that, bench Danny Green.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Swap Diaw for Green. Better match ups, period.

      Delete
  56. Bad time for a heat check, Leonard.

    ReplyDelete
  57. We're going to remember that missed bunny by Duncan.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Why didn't Green shoot it wide open? He should be benched.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Everyone will remember Duncan, Green giving up an open three in inexcusable. Cost them the game.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Evil wins. Evil always wins.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I am so baffled by that Green play still. Open three and passes it up.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Chalmers totally traveled before the clock expired.

    1. Not like the Spurs had a 8 point play ready to go.

    2. I know, just thought it was funny.

    3. In 1997, the entire Bulls bench was on the floor with 2 seconds to go. I spent a month convinced they should have had 10 technical fouls assessed to them.
