The Reds, Nationals, and Giants had already clinched their playoff spots. The Reds and Giants had already clinched their divisions. So it was obviously the Braves turn to clinch their playoff spot. And they did it in dramatic fashion.
Now that's how you clinch a playoff spot. A dramatic walk-off in the ninth inning in front of tens of hundreds of fans. (Seriously Braves fans? Your team is on the verge of clinching and you can't even fill out the lower level bleachers? SMH) So there's only one more playoff spot left in the National League and looking at the standings it looks like the Cardinals have basically wrapped it up. That leaves the American League where none of the teams have clinched a playoff spot left. Should be a fun week of baseball.
