There are some things referees in basketball just won't let fly. Calling them blind or saying they need glasses will get you a tech. Repeating arguing calls will get you run. Kicking the basketball into the stands will definitely get you kicked off the court. Like Rick Carlisle tonight.
I love how as soon as he kicked the ball and noticed the ball hit someone, Carlisle apologized too the fan before even realizing he was kicked out. So you can't say Carlisle isn't a classy guy, but you can definitely say he was mad there at the ref and predictably got ran from the game.
At least Carlisle was contrite.
