Giants in the playoffs have taken my attention completely away from the college football. Which might be a good thing. Besides a couple of games, the college football schedule this week just doesn't interest me. The main game for the weekend is Oklahoma-Missouri and I have no idea what to make of that game. Thank God the Giants-Phillies game will be on by then. As always leave comments and don't be a troll. The Live Blog will go live at 12:30 PT/3:30 ET.

Erin practicing MMA with DeMarco Murray was funny.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: Steven Threet visits a wet Berkeley today.
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised if Northwestern gives Michigan State a real run for their money.
ReplyDeleteHeh. Navy stuffs Notre Dame on 4th and goal.
ReplyDeleteO/U on Threet turnovers: 4
ReplyDeleteGreat TD drive by Persa. It would be typical MSU to no-show before the big game versus Iowa next week.
Bob Griese: "Mike...Dan Persa."
ReplyDeleteRece: "There's the second 'Boom Goes The Touchdown.'"
ReplyDeleteSyracuse on ESPN2? Huh?
ReplyDeleteNavy stuffs Notre Dame on 4th and goal and then drives 99 yards for a touchdown.
ReplyDeleteOh boy Sparty. Northwestern falls on the fumble.
ReplyDeleteNow Northwestern fumbles on the 1. Yeesh.
ReplyDeleteDerp, Northwestern
ReplyDeleteLucky for Bob Trumpy's nephew he was down when he fumbled for Northwestern...maybe.
ReplyDelete/Chris Spielman'd
10-0 Wildcats. Wake up Sparty!
ReplyDelete7-3 Iowa State over Texas?
ReplyDelete/it's still early
Jim Knox was just tackled by the Iowa State mascot. Extreme Sideline Reporter!
ReplyDeleteDamn. I must've turned to that game just after that....
ReplyDeleteDave Lapham: "Wisconsin, watch out for Iowa." It's #13 vs. #15. It's not like the Badgers are playing Iowa State.
ReplyDelete17-0 Northwestern. Wilbon must have a purple stiffy.
ReplyDelete....that didn't come out right.
14-3 Iowa State and a great call for an onside kick. Ballsy.
ReplyDeleteOh Texas.
ReplyDeleteHahaha Texas. Picked in the end zone.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Navy!
ReplyDeleteThe guy who just scored for Navy will be a pilot. Badass.
ReplyDeleteGilbert lucky as an ISU defender drops another wide open INT.
ReplyDeleteLapham: "The clock operator had that frozen finger."
ReplyDelete/out of context'd
Texas misses an easy FG before the half. Still trail 14-3 at the half.
ReplyDeleteArizona State-Cal is the Game of the Week on ESPN Radio?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why, RJBO. That game is gonna to suck.
ReplyDeleteESPN Radio has a Meh schedule of games the rest of the regular season.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: When ESPN was doing their Scholar of the Week in the Arkansas-Ole Miss game, they misspelled 'relief.'
ReplyDeleteYikes, Keith.
ReplyDeleteSparty looking to take advantage of good field position after halftime to cut into the 17-7 Wildcats lead.
On cue, Touchdown Sparty on an end around.
ReplyDeleteCrist throws another INT. Navy is going to blowout ND.
ReplyDeleteBrando tweet: "Rough 24 hours for Regis Philbin. First the Yanks now this?( Notre Dame beat down from Navy!) OUCH! Irish defense Hammered by triple option."
ReplyDeleteNavy kicking the shit out of Notre Dame.
ReplyDeleteI'm sticking with MSU-NW & ISU-Texas.
ReplyDeleteLapham: "They're cracking some plastic down there!"
24-14 Wildcats; 14-6 Cyclones and they're driving.
ReplyDeleteStunned by both scores.
Holy shit! Cyclones get 37 on a 3rd and 18 and the receiver fumbles it out of bounds. So lucky.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Cyclones! Haha Texas
ReplyDelete@RJBO: Brando made a Persa joke kind of like Pasch. Go over to AA to see what he said and Bolerjack's next comment.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I saw it, Keith. Brando can't help himself.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: No, he really can't.
ReplyDelete"It's Summers in the City."
ANOTHER FAKE FOR SPARTY!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Fake Punt for the 1st down, next play a TD pass to Dell. Gotta admire Dantonio's guts.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Sparty did it again.
ReplyDeleteNorthwestern had the right defense against a fake, but the corner forgot to cover the receiver.
ReplyDeleteAnother Texas turnover.
ReplyDeletePasch really likes to say "sticking his face in there."
ReplyDeleteHahaha Texas. 28-6 Cyclones
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Iowa State
ReplyDelete28-6 Cyclones.
"Here's to you Mr. Robinson."-Dave Lapham
Wendi Nix: "Michigan and Northwestern on ESPN..."
ReplyDeleteClose enough.
Someone needs to petition the U.N. for sanctions for this unconscionable use of a military force against this innocent conclave of Indiana Catholics.
ReplyDeleteHahaha
ReplyDeleteFail by Mark Dell running into the ump on 3rd down.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Dave Pasch continue to make a big deal about "no more commercials" in the rest of the quarter? He did that in the 3rd, too.
ReplyDeletesportspickle SportsPickle
ReplyDeleteOh well. Texas has always been more of a baseball state anyway.
At least Texas has the Rangers to fall back on.....
ReplyDeleteWHAT A CATCH BY CUNNINGHAM!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch by Cunningham! Touchdown M-S-U!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SPARTA!
ReplyDeleteN'western's kicker (no cinch to make one; he's missed 5 FGs already) injured himself trying to hip check a returner early in the game.
ReplyDeleteKeith, The Big Ten Conference has a new commercial recreating that scene with a bunch of children. If I could find it online, I'll pass it along.
ReplyDelete4th and 22 upcoming for West Virginia, down 19-14 to the Cuse.
ReplyDeleteYou guys must read this comment from a Notre Dame fan
ReplyDeleteLink fail
ReplyDeleteSparty's gonna hold on against N'Western; Syracuse beats West Virginia.
ReplyDeleteLink Fail. Anyways that Notre Dame fan over at EDSBS just left an epic comment saying how he hates Brian Kelly, the ND fans/players. Just an epic comment.
ReplyDeleteWell that was about the dumbest thing Michigan State could have done.......
ReplyDelete@RJBO: I'm going to start the live blog then grab something to eat. Keep an eye on things for me.
ReplyDeleteNorthwestern smartly employs the "let them score" defense down 7 and soon to be 8.
ReplyDelete66 yards to glory for Northwestern.
ReplyDeleteBallgame for Sparty. Persa the terrible pick.
ReplyDelete/onto ISU-Texas
