8 Braves 6 Marlins: Even though Florida's Jorge Cantu drove in five runs, the Marlins still lost to the Braves. Atlanta broke their four-game losing streak behind a strong performance by Derek Lowe. Garret Anderson drove in his first three runs of the season for the Braves. Also Chipper Jones and Omar Infante both drove in two runs apiece for Atlanta. I wonder if Lowe is still married to Carolyn Hughes?
4 Rays 3 Yankees in 10: Carlos Pena hit a game-winning home run in the tenth inning against New York. Mark Teixeria tied the game in the eighth inning with a double. But that lead wasn't enough for the Yankees to snap their 4-game losing streak.
3 Rangers 2 A's: Kurt Suzuki had a chance to win this game with runners on, but all he did was fly out. The A's have lost four straight. Both David Murphy and Chris Davis drove in runs for the Rangers.
Picture of the Night: I guess Pedroia found out that his brother will be going to jail for a long time.
Pedroia just looked like he flunked a PED test.

While his hitting may be sub-par, as a defensive 3rd base man, I actually think that Pedro Feliz is really, really good. Which in turn made last night's error all the more bizarre.
ReplyDeleteFeliz has always been a good fielder. But he will always disappoint with his hitting.
