Greg Oden To Miss Some More Time

After sitting out for seven games already, Portland's Greg Oden will sit out for 7-10 more days.

Oden, who has missed the team's last seven games after chipping his kneecap on Feb. 12, is due to miss another four to six games under the latest timetable for his return, according to the report. He missed six games early this season with a foot injury.
Oden, who missed his entire rookie season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee, traveled with the team on its three-game trip road last week but did not play. Coach Nate McMillan said Oden "didn't look good," when he tried running during a practice in Minnesota, according to The Oregonian.
I know this has been talked about, but did Portland draft another Sam Bowie?

Sam Bowie will always be remembered as the player drafted ahead of Michael Jordan. While Jordan went on to become the greatest basketball player of all-time, Bowie had an injury plague career.

You can start drawing parallels between Bowie and Jordan to Oden and Kevin Durant. Durant is 4th in the league in scoring and will most likely become a dominate player. Meanwhile Oden has spent the majority of his career on the bench.

While I wouldn't give up on Oden yet, if I was a Portland fan, I would be worried.

This is where Oden spends the majority of his time.
