  2. Keith, I must confess my disappointment that you are yet to wish a happy birthday to your favorite former Giant turned current Phillie.

  3. I LOL at UConn right now.

    35-22 St. Johns at halftime.

  4. Greivis and Gary ACC Player and Coach of the Year....

    Go Terps!

and this UConn-SJU game has been horrendous. i guess i shouldn't have expected much in a 12-13 matchup.

  5. I can't believe how inconsistent UConn has been this year. Just mind boggling.

  6. It is incredible. At least I have that classic from last year on my DVR. Damn what a game.

And FYI, this is why I never thought twice about not live blogging the 1st round of the Big East Tournament.

  7. So much on right now, from the basketball games to the Flyers to Halladay pitching on MLB-N. Too much television.....too little time.

  8. And here I am watching NCAA Tournament highlights on CSN Bay Area.

  9. Billy Jaffe just tried to say that Michael Leighton could end up like Dominik Hasek. Please kill me now.

FYI, expect a live blog tomorrow. I'll set it up at my place, I guess?

  10. @JFein: Yeah you better set it up at your place. I won't be around much tomorrow because of school.

  11. The Flyers are currently in a better position to star in an episode of House or ER then to play a hockey game.

    /So many injuries in the 1st period'd

  12. After leaving in the 1st period with what seemed like serious injuries, Krajicek, JVR, and Carbomb have all returned for the Flyers. Almost immediately after Carcillo returned, Carter scored.

2-1 Isles in the 2nd. Game is on Versus.

  13. SCORE GAGNE!!!!!!!!! AFTER TRAILING 2-0, THE FLYERS LEAD IT 3-2!!!!!!

  14. Flyers win it 3-2. Certainly a good comeback win for them, especially against a weaker team. Laviolette can't keep playing Leighton every game though and the moment that Hartnell is benched for Ville Leino, the team will improve tenfold.

  15. Tomorrow's slate of games Big East games is actually shaping up to be half decent.

  16. Oh crap. Rutgers is beating Cincinnati.

  17. And now the only good team to ever come out of northern Jersey is losing. Pooey!

  18. "That is a flop. I can't believe referees fall for that." - Jay Bilas

It's not just basketball, Jay. Players flop in all sports where flopping and diving can get you ahead and draw a call on the other team.

    Rutgers has gone completely cold.

  19. It's now 62-54 Cincy. Rutgers has completely lost their touch.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Somehow Rutgers is within 2. Cincinnati sucks at shooting FTs and finishing off games.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Rutgers will have a chance to at least tie the game on the last possession! Unbelievable.

3-point game. Rutgers needs a 3 with 23 seconds left. Or a 2 and a foul might work.

OH THEY MADE THE 3!!!!!!! TIED AT 68!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. CINCY THE OTHER WAY!!!!! STEPHENSON'S SHOT IS BLOCKED BUT A FOUL ON RUTGERS WITH 1.8 SECONDS LEFT!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

    ReplyDelete
  23. 69-68 with 1.8 seconds left.

They intentionally miss the 2nd. Rebound Rosario....the 3/4 court shot is NO GOOD! He airballed it and Cincinnati advances to the 2nd round of the Big East tournament. They will face Louisville on Wednesday at 9.
