Yes The Orioles Are Tied For 1st Place In The AL East

The Yankees lost. The Orioles won. Meaning the O's are now in first place of the AL East. Here's the snapshot to prove it.
This is the latest the Orioles have been in first since Cal Ripken still played for the O's. Soak it in, O's fans. I'll be rooting for you guys.

  1. The O's leading the division while being the worst fielding and pitching team in the majors is amazing. Also tells you how mediocre the AL East is this year.

    1. I'm sorry, but I have to object. The O's are 16th in MLB in pitching, but they have the 3rd best bullpen in the AL. They're still 28th in fielding, but are 3rd in MLB in fielding % since the all-star break. McLouth in LF and Macahdo playing 3rd have really solidified the defense the last 6 weeks.

That said, I'm thinking they've peaked too early. Still, it's been a helluva ride so far.
