The Raiders and Chargers are playing on the NFL Network. Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech are playing on ESPN. Case Kennum is about to pass for over 1,000 yards in a game against Tulane on CBS Sportsnet. So enjoy whatever game you're watching, leave comments, and don't be a troll.
My gawd the Georgia Tech offense can be glorious to watch.
ReplyDeleteVPI and GT, I bet you Kris is glued to his screen right now.
ReplyDeleteToo bad ESPN finally gets a watchable Thursday Night game and it's versus an NFL game....
ReplyDeleteAn aside: I'm calling shenanigans on this Mickey Redmond Soundboard from Fox Sports Detroit. First...he actually got an award for his broadcasting? Second, only one grumble about the refs???
They were being generous to Mickey.
ReplyDeleteA bunch of smoke behind you means "it's Veteran's Day weekend," Rich Eisen? I....guess.
ReplyDeleteMike Mayock has three ties in his wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteThis is weird seeing Brad Nessler in the NFL Net booth.
ReplyDeleteMayock looks like a ceramic doll.
ReplyDeleteI could do without Mike Mayock, but anything's better than that shitshow last year. #Lowbar
ReplyDeleteTRICKERATION!
ReplyDelete"Protect the field goal," Mike Mayock? Chargers still could have kicked a 37-yard field goal from where they were backed up to.
ReplyDeleteTake the tackle like a man, Jacoby.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cannon on Lechler.
ReplyDelete"There can be no foul for pass interference in a punt formation." Hochuli. A useful explanation.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Aaron Curry popped Marcus McNeill.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys have tomorrow off?
ReplyDeleteKeith, I don't. I'll be around most of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteGovt. business is closed tomorrow, right?
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Michael Bush!
ReplyDeleteMy computer keeps giving me the middle finger. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteHey! Only Chargers & Raidahs fans are supposed to fight, not the players.
ReplyDelete21-13 VaTech leading the Jackets at the half.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've been this excited for a regular season hockey game in a while, but I am for the Sharks-Wild game in an hour.
ReplyDeleteMayock: "Mike Mitchell gave me the finger to say 'Come here, pal. I want to talk to you.' He didn't like what I had to say when he was drafted."
ReplyDeleteNessler: "I'm glad he said 'He wanted to talk to you.' Didn't know which finger he gave."
I'm glad I picked the Raiders in my pick em' group.
ReplyDeleteGeez, San Diego.
ReplyDeleteWhy did I expect more out of the Chargers tonight? Was their offensive output on Sunday only because of the leaky Packers D?
ReplyDeleteWhy did I start Rivers again? He's killing me.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Denarius Moore!
ReplyDeleteHere comes that ever-efficient Phillip Rivers 2:00 Drill again.....
ReplyDelete17-3 Raidahs at the half. Charger fans are pissed, and rightly so.
ReplyDeleteNow this is actually a good ACC game.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you going for 2 VERY early in the 3rd quarter, Georgia Tech???? 21-19 VaTech.
ReplyDeletePalmer: "This game has the feel of a playoff game." Are you just trolling Wetzel & Brando, or was that just hyperbole? #StillAGreatGame
ReplyDeleteI had no idea Beamer has the most wins among active coaches now that JoePa is gone.
ReplyDeleteBeamer's been in Blackburg forever. Hell, even Bud Foster has been a coach there since 1987.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Foster hasn't been a head coach somewhere else by now.
ReplyDeleteAnother OL injury for the Chargers. Goodness.
ReplyDeleteAt least the Chargers are showing signs of life on this opening drive of the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteWHAT A TD CATCH BY VINCENT BROWN! FOUGHT TWO DEFENDERS!
ReplyDeleteWhy does three games I want to watch all have to happen right now?????
ReplyDeleteA screen to Michael Bush for a 55 yard gain!
ReplyDeleteMoore is catching everything.
ReplyDeleteAnother touchdown for Denarius Moore! What an answer!
ReplyDelete"We are seeing the birth of a young wide receiver who is getting better with every snap." - Brad Nessler
ReplyDeleteThat he was not talking about DHB must sadden Kris immensely.
VaTech is back on top in Atlanta after a Logan Thomas TD sneak. 27-26 VaTech as they miss a 2-pont conversion.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I'm noticing about the abundance of Twitter love of Mike Mayock: I guess no one's watching Notre Dame football...
ReplyDeleteI always liked Pat Hayden despite being a USC grad.
ReplyDeleteMy school is hosting the Division II Field Hockey Final Four and National Championship game this Friday and Sunday, respectively. The games are being streamed on NCAA.com and yes, we are playing in it as well. That the stadium about a quarter of a mile from my apartment should make the scenes outside my apartment very fun to say the least.
ReplyDeleteToo bad I'll be in class when we play on Friday and the Eagles are on the same time as the national championship game. I might have attended my first ever field hockey game. Provided of course I took time to learn the rules.
Agreed on Pat Haden, Keith. He decided to go and clean up what I used to call a "Chernobyl" of a program. It's merely a "Three Mile Island" (#SimpsonsReference) compared to recent events.
ReplyDeleteOh Novak.
ReplyDeleteOf course he missed that.
ReplyDeleteAre the 2011 Chargers cursed?
ReplyDeleteCarson Palmer has a perfect QB Rating so far??? #StillEarly
ReplyDeleteTuck rule'd
ReplyDeleteThat is about as obvious an empty hand as you are going to see.
ReplyDeleteChargers needed that for a flicker of hope in this game.
ReplyDeleteRaidahs gonna challenge the call of a fumble. Dumb.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as the game starts, Douglas Murray sends Seto right into the boards. Welcome back Seto!
ReplyDelete34-26 VaTech after a Logan Thomas TD pass, 9:49 left in Atlanta.
ReplyDeleteMAN THIS VINCENT BROWN CAN MAKE CIRCUS CATCHES! TOUCHDOWN CHARGERS! #Gruden'd
ReplyDeleteLito Sheppard?
ReplyDeleteRaidahs have only 3 healthy corners.
ReplyDeleteThe Raiders are desperate, Justin.
ReplyDeleteOH WOW! INCOMPLETE PASS!!
ReplyDeletePhillip Rivers is taking some hits thanks to this thin O-Line.
ReplyDeleteHeatley with a penalty. He sent Boyle flying.
ReplyDeleteThat is one rule that before tonight I did not know existed.
ReplyDeleteTD Pass Rivers to Jacob Hester!
ReplyDeleteYes! Fantasy points!
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN SAN DIEGO! PYROTECHNICS!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsPNt6uBxBE&feature=player_embedded
There was no way Carson Palmer could get close to a perfect QB Rating without throwing a pick.
ReplyDeleteThe Sharks should score a goal.
ReplyDeleteRyan Mathews is so lucky Oakland was offsides, otherwise that's a safety. #CaptainObvious
ReplyDeleteVirginia Tech wins 37-26.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha @ Lito Sheppard. Dropped the easiest INT of his career.
ReplyDeleteVirginia Tech will then most likely play Clemson in the ACC championship game.
ReplyDeleteSigh. An Oakland hold before the punt gives San Diego a FD.
ReplyDeleteThese are the Raiders I remembered.
ReplyDeletewow chargers
ReplyDeleteDammit Rivers
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA RIVERS!
ReplyDeleteExcellent effort at that ball, Vincent Jackson....
ReplyDeleteNessler: "Rich (Eisen) doing his Darth Vader impression." Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute grease fire Rivers has been this year....
ReplyDeleteOof.
ReplyDeleteThe Chargers O-Line is turrible.
ReplyDelete
