ESPNU has scheduled to play four documentaries this year on college football. The first one on Hershel Walker was excellent and I suggest to anyone to watch that doc. Now ESPN has given us a trailer to their next documentary. This one is on the first SEC championship played back in 1992 between Florida and Alabama called "The Play That Changed College Football". And based on the trailer, it looks great.
As someone who loves sports history and college football, I'm very interested in this doc. I had no idea how controversial a conference championship was. It makes sense though when you look at the conference expansion and conference realignment to think that a conference championship game would be controversial. Of course that's just a part of this documentary that I'm looking forward to seeing.
