Foul Ball: Cleveland Rocks!

Cleveland 5 Detroit 4: Guess who has the best record in baseball. If you would have guessed the Cleveland Indians then you would have won a prize. The Indians swept the Tigers on Sunday, winning their 13th straight home game, and now own the best record in the majors at 19-8. Amazing. Matt LaPorta owned the day for the Tribe driving in three runs. Where's Lebron and his Yankees hat now?

Chicago 4 Baltimore 6: The Orioles offense was lead by Nick Markakis who hit a three-run double along with solo home runs by Luke ".45" Scott and Mark Reynolds. The White Sox anemic offense stranded 11 baserunners while Zach Britton continues to help my fantasy team. Ozzie Guillen returned from his two game suspension for his Twitter rant to manage the White Sox to another loss.

Ozzie on His Suspension: From the AP recap: “I think it was a very fair one,” he said. “I think it was good for baseball and myself and the integrity of the game. I think if MLB made any good moves in the last 20 years, I think that is a good one because they don’t make too many good moves, but they did this time.”

Atlanta 6 St. Louis 5: The Cardinals may be good enough right now to lead the NL Central, their closer issue though is very concerning. Ryan Franklin blew another save, his sixth of the year already, when he gave up a game-winning single to Brooks "Between the legs" Conrad. Braves shortstop Alex Gonzalez had himself quite the day hitting a home run and scoring the game-winning run.

Houston 5 Milwaukee 0: I know what you're saying. Who the hell is Bud Norris? The Milwaukee Brewers are certainly asking themselves this question after Norris scattered three hits and no runs in 7 2/3 innings of work. Carlos Lee hit a home run in the game and then had to be taken to the hospital for a ribcage injury after he collided with the Astros shortstop.

New York 5 Toronto 2: Curtis Granderson and Mark Teixeira hit home runs in the Yankee victory while Laz Diaz took a foul ball off his man area.

Colorado 4 Pittsburgh 8:  The Pirates scored eight runs between the second and fifth inning four of those runs coming off of Ubaldo Jimenez. Newly acquired outfielder Xavier Paul drove in two runs in the fourth inning and Garrett Jones drove in three runs. The Pirates still managed to go Pirates by leaving 11 men on base during the game.

Kansas City 10 Minnesota 3: Good news for the Twins, Justin Morneau finally hit his first home of the year in this game. Bad news for the Twins, they lost again to the Royals and were swept out of Kansas City dropping their record to 9-18 on the year the worst record in the major leagues. Mike Aviles hit a home run and drove in four runs for the Royals to go along with Jeff Francoeur's home run. Francoeur has hit six home runs this year while Morneau has only hit one. This is the bizarro world.

Boston 3 Seattle 2: Carl Crawford has had a miserable year so far in Boston, but on Sunday he might have finally endured himself to the Boston crowd when he knocked in the game-winning run against the Mariners. With Jed Lowrie at third, Crawford singled, driving in the winning run in the ninth inning.

During the Mets-Phillies game last night it was announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan. Philly fans celebrated the news in great fashion.

Video of the Day: The Blue Jays teams that won back-to-back championships should be talked about more.
