I had never heard of Keenan Cahill the YouTube sensation or his incredible story until today. Keenan is a 16-year old kid from Illinois who has a rare disorder named Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome. The complex condition comes with a host of problems — including stunted growth — and fewer than 1,100 people are estimated to have it worldwide.
Despite this condition, Cahill has become a YouTube sensation by lip-syncing songs with various stars including 50 Cent. Imagine my surprised when Giants closer Brian Wilson and NLCS hero Cody Ross along with Giants mascot Lou Seal made an appearance in a Cahill video lip-syncing along to Taio Cruz's Dynamite.
Wilson and Ross will be hosting "Dynamite: A Fundraiser for Keenan Cahill" during the game against the Florida Marlins on May 25. Check out sfgiants.com/specialevents for more info on the event.
