Foul Ball: Buck Showalter Hates Glee

Baltimore 5 Minnesota 3: Matt Wieters and Vlad Guerrero each homered for the Orioles to go along with two RBIs from Adam Jones. Orioles pitcher Zach Britton gave up three runs and five hits in six innings of work but was still able to pick up the victory. And then there's Buck Showalter. I guess ole Buck had never heard of Glee before because he was clearly not impressed with their rendition of the National Anthem. Where would we be without Buck Showalter or Ozzie Guillen?

Kansas City 5 Cleveland 7: Royals pitcher Luke Hochevar took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and that's when he lost complete composure. The Indians drilled Hochevar for five hits and six runs to comeback to beat the Royals and extend their lead in the AL Central.

Tampa Bay 4 Chicago 1: The Rays keep ascending along the standings while the White Sox keep descending. Behind Wade Davis the Rays won their eighth game out of nine try's to reach the .500 mark after their miserable start to the year. Meanwhile the White Sox have now lost seven straight games and have gone five straight games without scoring more than two runs.

Ozzie Guillen Quote: From the AP recap: “It’s not easy when the guys go out and pitch and they don’t have run support,” Guillen said. The Giants pitching staff, specifically Matt Cain, knows how the White Sox pitching staff feels.

Joe Maddon Quote: From the same AP recap: “The fact that we’re back to that level is great, but our goal is well above .500,” Rays manager Joe Maddon said. “That’s how you get back to this point, grinding it out everyday. It speaks to the attitude of the group. You get to solvency and now you’ve just got to win series’. Playing for Maddon would drive me nuts.

Oakland 3 Boston 5: Amazingly the Red Sox picked up their first road win of the year yesterday against the A's. Stanford product Jed Lowrie hit a two-run home run in the game to go along with Kevin Youkilises home run in the fourth inning. DL JD Drew also had a home run in the game for the Red Sox.

Chicago 2 San Diego 1, 11 Innings: The best part about Reed Johnson's walkoff home run against the Padres in the 11th inning? The sound the dejected Padres radio announcers make calling that shot. It's sweet music to my ears.

Seattle 2 Detroit 3: Let's compare stats for a second. So far this year Erik Bedard is 0-4 having allowed 26 hits, 19 runs, 11 walks, while striking out 17. Meanwhile Baltimore's Adam Jones has hit 3 home runs, eight RBIs, with an OBP at .254. Okay so Adam Jones doesn't have the best stats but he's still seven years younger than Bedard. I think Seattle may want that trade back.

New York 3 Houston 4: Oh the Mets. Where would we be without the Mets? They're headed for baseball's worst record this season and are also on their way to be like the Dodgers and have MLB control their day-to-day operations.

Create a Caption: I'm pretty sure you're suppose to catch the ball Wilson.

Video of the Day: If having hemorrhoids wasn't embarrassing enough, George Brett peddled Ben Gay at the end of his career.
