New York Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro has had a rough career. He not only has pressure on him from being the number one overall draft pick from 2000 (taken over guys like Danny Heatley, Scott Hartnell, and even Henrik Lundqvist) but has the pressure of that ridiculous 15-year contract hanging over his head. Recently DiPietro has fought a variety of injuries keeping him sidelined while the Islanders have sunk into the abyss and become the worst team in the NHL. If all that wasn't bad enough, now he can add being knocked out by a backup goalie with one punch.
Near the end of the 3-0 loss for the Islanders, DiPietro clothesline the Penguins Matt Cooke which was awesome in itself because Cooke is a world class asshole. Penguins goalie Brent Johnson took exception to DiPietro clothes-lining Cooke and decided to take matters into his own hands. Johnson only needed one punch to take out DiPietro. Lucking for Rick his face wasn't damaged adding another injury to the list, but his pride may never recover.

Down Goes DiPietro!
