Last week I talked about the Rick DiPietro-Brent Johnson goalie fight. That fight was a one-sided affair that saw DiPietro break his jaw and injure his knee. Last night's fight against Montreal's Carey Price and Boston's Tim Thomas wasn't much better.
After a wild brawl broke out in the 2nd period between both teams that saw a total of 11 players sent to the penalty box, Thomas and Price decided to brawl. Let's just say this wasn't exactly a Roy-Vernon type of fight. Price-Thomas mostly skated around, fell down with Thomas pulling Price's sweater off. Dull fight, but the lead up to it was spectacular.
Check out how many Bruins were in the Sin Bin.
There was a total of 14 goals scored, 197 penalty minutes, and seven fights. So the goalie fight might have been lame, but last night's game was one of the craziest games I've ever seen.
