Darko has had an interesting NBA career. He was selected number 2 overall in the 2003 NBA Draft, which was loaded with future All-Stars like Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Chris Kaman, Josh Howard, and Mo Williams. That draft even had solid role players like Kirk Hinrich, Nick Collison, Boris Diaw, Travis Outlaw, and Luke Ridnour. Of course the Detroit Pistons picked the biggest bust out of this pool this side of Sam Bowie. Darko never had a chance in Detroit and eventually drifted to Orlando, Memphis, New York, and then was signed to a ridiculous contract by the Minnesota Timberwolves this offseason.
Even though he's being paid like an All-Star, Darko still stinks. Last night during the Timberwolves game against Washington, Darko scored two points for the Wizards off a jump-ball situation. Only Darko could do this.
