This is the first time in about an month I won't be live blogging the afternoon/night games along with the MLB playoffs. It feels great knowing I don't have to live blog games today. Meanwhile I need to go on a rant. The TCU-Utah game will be aired on CBS College Sports. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't have CBS College Sports. I'm going to have to find a stream for that game. Which brings me to a larger point, now you see why Utah left tread marks fleeing the Mountain West and why TCU could be following them. If those programs want to be taken seriously they have to play on an network that people can actually watch. Now excuse me, I have to get off my high horse. Enjoy the games, leave comments, and don't troll. (All images via Mock Sessions)
Announcing schedule and Must List

Enjoy the games today. My grandparents are coming up to visit me for the day. Among probably other things, we are going to the Kutztown-Bloomsburg PSAC East Championship Game. If I'm going to be around at all, it will be at the absolute earliest during the 3:30 games.
ReplyDeleteHave fun.
ReplyDeleteFowler: "If you can find this game (TCU-Utah), enjoy it."
ReplyDelete@RJBO: What's the deal with Michigan fans? They can't see out their own stadium? Who do they think they are? Cal fans?
ReplyDeleteWow. Deep TD pass for Denard on the 1st play from scrimmage.
ReplyDelete/it won't last
Heh, Keith. There's 100,000+ in there, but games against teams like Illinois or Indiana don't completely sell out.
ReplyDeleteMichigan's defense is horrendous. And that's an understatement.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to tell me that.
ReplyDelete/McGloin Screen Pass for a FD'd
Keith, are you part of the free preview of CBS College Sports starting today?
@RJBO: You read my mind. I was just about to mention that I get a free preview of CBS College Sports today.
ReplyDeleteI pay the extra $7 a month that includes CBS College Sports. I'm definitely watching that game even over Bama-LSU.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: I'm with you. I'll definitely be watching that game.
ReplyDeleteShould we do a live blog for that game? Will you be around all day? I have nothing planned, might as well do a live blog.
Dimke just got that FG past the right upright. 7-3 Michigan...for now.
ReplyDeleteI'll be here all day, Keith. Go for it.
ReplyDeleteLou Holtz in a Discover Card commercial??? Bleh.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: Okay, I'll set it up. It will go live around Noon. I'm sure Scott and Longley will be around.
ReplyDelete"Jared The Galleria of Jewelry Score Alert"
ReplyDeleteFor Iowa-Indiana no less. Geez.
Great pick by Martez Wilson.
ReplyDeleteOkay, the live blog is set up. It'll go live around Noon.
ReplyDeleteMight as well live blog today's games, the weather is crappy here so I won't be doing anything.
"The weather is crappy"
ReplyDeleteI saw snowflakes for the 1st time this season. Damn, it got cold fast....
It's raining and cold here. Good day to just sit back and watch football.
ReplyDeleteMichigan...caused a takeaway? Unpossible.
ReplyDeleteAnnnnnnnnnnnd Denard gave it right back to the Illini, courtesy a pick.
ReplyDelete4 turnovers in the 1st quarter (3 by Michigan). Good God.
ReplyDeleteMichigan, derp
ReplyDeleteFor Christ sake. I'm already getting Christmas commercials.
ReplyDeleteEasy TD scramble for Scheelhaase. Illini leads. /boatrace
ReplyDeleteWischusen: "This is a ridiculous time for a two-point conversion."
ReplyDelete/Lane Kiffin'd
At least Illinois got it.
That's embarrassing. The Fighting Zookers converted their 2-point conversion.
ReplyDeleteAnother TD pass from Denard to Roundtree! TOUCHDOWN MICHIGAN!
ReplyDeleteNow Michigan scores. Either of these teams heard of defense?
ReplyDeleteWorse than that, it was 4th and 9 and Roundtree was wide open.
ReplyDeleteAnd here I am thinking the Baylor-OK State game would be high scoring.
ReplyDelete/It's still early
Easy TD run for Jason Ford. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteTurnover on downs for Michigan. Why wasn't the Darryl Stonum "incompletion" on 3rd down not reviewed? It looked close enough to at least get a replay.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Okie State. Great catch by Blackmon.
ReplyDeletePurdue leads Wisconsin late in the 1st half. I had Purdue as the only possible win for Michigan the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteHeh. A shirtless Okie State fan had "Blackmon 81" written on his back in Sharpie.
ReplyDeleteAir Force is dressed up to jump the Snake River Canyon.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to cover Roy Roundtree, Illinois.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand much Dave Lapham. He's like a book of cliches, unless someone gets "face raped."
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you heard Lapham say, "He went Bowling for 1st downs."
ReplyDeleteThere's a player on Okie State named Bo Bowling.
HEMINGWAY! WHAT A RUN AFTER THE CATCH!
ReplyDeleteBrian Griese: "Maybe we should call him Junior Houdini."
ReplyDeleteKeith, I saw the post you put on the Pammies.
Lapham is trying to destroy Brando's record of cliches.
ReplyDeleteRece Davis: "I know you guys are enjoying an entertaining game, but there's places where they're playing tackle football." HA!
ReplyDeleteWhat a catch by Ryan Langford. Touchdown ILL-INI.
ReplyDeleteOver 600 yards combined in the 1st half alone? Nice defense Illinois-Michigan.
ReplyDeleteGreat return on the reverse by Stonum!
ReplyDeleteIllinois is capable of good defense (they kept AnOSU & MSU bottled up); Michigan has a D-II defense.
ReplyDeleteRobinson almost threw another pick.
ReplyDelete31-28 Michigan. This is embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteFayson WIDE OPEN for the FD. Bleh.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: When does Michigan begin their basketball season?
ReplyDeleteBrian Griese: "It's like we're broadcasting college basketball today."
ReplyDeleteNext Saturday vs. South Carolina-Upstate.
I guess I should do a preview of the college basketball season then.
ReplyDeleteHeh, Keith.
ReplyDelete/pours out a little liquor for the demise of the Terry Gannon-Stephen Bardo late night pairing
//not really
I'm so glad Gannon is out of my life. No more college football or basketball for me being announced by Gannon.
ReplyDeleteBaylor got hosed. That should've been a catch.
ReplyDeleteLapham: "A little Edwin Moses like. Hurdling over the pile of players."
ReplyDeleteUrban Meyer going full douchebag right now. Challenging an non-fumble while his team is up 41-0.
ReplyDelete"God Bless Saturday" from Kid Rock? At least it's not "Born Free."
ReplyDeleteBrian Griese: "You had a good chance to practice your touchdown calls, partner."
ReplyDeleteWischusen: "Here I thought ESPN didn't broadcast Arena League games anymore."
Where did this defense come from? 3 combined 3-and-outs in the 2nd half...plus a FG miss by Dimke!
ReplyDelete"The Grease Board?" Ugh
ReplyDeleteI could go for one of those Zingermans sandwiches right now....
ReplyDeleteWischusen: "I think before Brian Griese won the MVP in the Rose Bowl, I think the sandwich was called the Angioplasty Special."
Very subtle Designated Driver commercial, Anheuser-Busch.
ReplyDeleteI could use a sandwich right now, but I'm actually going to make soup.
ReplyDeleteIllinois has pissed away great field position in the 2nd half. Zero points starting in Michigan territory twice.
ReplyDeleteScheelhaase to Fayson gets 21 on 3rd and 14. Typical.
ReplyDeleteVandy finally scored on a blocked punt no less.
ReplyDeleteIowa driving towards the red zone, down 13-9 in Bloomington.
ReplyDeleteWIDE OPEN Leshoure for the Illini TD. Geez.
ReplyDeleteNice defense Michigan.
ReplyDeleteBrian Griese: "Something tells me whoever has the ball last has a good chance of winning."
ReplyDeleteA Meyer FG cuts Indiana's lead over Iowa to 13-12.
ReplyDeleteForcier = Rex Grossman
ReplyDeleteA 1-play fumble, but at least no TD return.
23 yard completion from Scheelhaase to Fayson on 2nd and 22. Blech.
ReplyDeleteMike Shanahan approved of that QB pulling.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard anything about Denard being hurt, at least not from the ESPN broadcast.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Illini.
The Michigan radio broadcast says Denard might have a hand injury.
ReplyDelete*deep sigh*
Greg Robinson needs to be fired this instance. It's outrageous he has a job still. And I'm not even a Michigan fan.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Keith. It's maddening that he survived after last year.
ReplyDelete@RJBO: I'm going to start the live blog. Then I can go grab my lunch.
ReplyDeleteHolding wipes out a nice pass from Forcier to Gallon to the 2 yard line. Yeesh.
ReplyDelete
