There's no other way around this, the National Football Conference is terrible. The Falcons have the best record in the conference at 5-2. The defending conference and Super Bowl champion is 4-3 on the year coming off a loss from Cleveland. The NFC, which was suppose to be the best division in football, is lead by the Giants who were blown out earlier this year by Indianapolis and Tennessee. I didn't even talk about the NFC North and West in fear of going into paralysis. The conference is terrible.
Tonight two of those teams expected to compete for the conference title, the New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys. Even though the Cowboys only have one win on the season, they could still very well win their division. That's how bad the NFC is this season. So enjoy tonight's game, leave comments, and don't be a troll.
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys, 5:30 (ESPN - Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, and Jon Gruden)
Thanks ESPN. I really wanted a close-up of Leather Face Jones.
ReplyDeleteFlyers losing 2-1. with 1:55 left. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteThe best part about this game is one of these teams is losing it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing the Giants are only down by 6 after all of these turnovers.
ReplyDeleteEventually, a football team shoots themselves in the foot so much that they cease to be a good team who just makes a few mistakes and turn into a bad team.
ReplyDeleteLOL Dez!
ReplyDeleteIn the words of the immortal Rickey Watters, "For who, for what?"
ReplyDeleteFrom a disastrous first few weeks, the Giants have really turned it around.

ReplyDeleteJerryface!
ReplyDeleteThe 49ers and Cowboys now will battle for the 1st overall draft choice.
ReplyDelete0 fantasy points for Roy Williams tonight.
ReplyDeleteI am disappoint.
I had a good fantasy week.
ReplyDeleteJon Kitna fail.
ReplyDeleteAs an Eagles fan, I never want to see Wade Phillips fired.
ReplyDeleteI also hope Phillips is never fired either. Just for the laughs.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why Wade should have kicked the field goal. The Cowboys would be in the game if he did. What a bumbling clothead.

ReplyDeleteThat seriously could not have been Roy Williams? Bleh.
ReplyDeleteAgain, this is why Wade Phillips should have kicked the FG in that situation. What a git.

ReplyDeleteThat was weird.
ReplyDeletePer Jon Gruden, everyone is the best at everything.
ReplyDeleteNothing new there, Justin. Even Alex Smith is great to Gruden.
ReplyDeleteWhat a long/bizarre game. I'm going to bed.
ReplyDeleteWhy are the Cowboys still trying?
ReplyDeleteThis game is a travesty of football.
"This guy's gotta plan." - Jon Gruden
ReplyDeleteDrink if you're not already inebriated from watching this terrible football game.
Kick it to a wall of 7 Giants. Good idea, Bueller.
