Go Nova!
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I a surprised that there are even that many people at the game considering the Snowpocalypse.
AWESOME BREAKING NEWS: The Flyers have traded OKT (and a 5th round draft pick in 2011) to Detroit for Ville Leino !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been giddy to trade OKT for a bag of pucks, but now that we got an actual player and Detroit is saddled with the worst defenseman to ever play the game of hockey, I'M SO GIDDY!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWE'RE FINALLY FREE OF OKT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blah. Georgetown leads by 9.
ReplyDeleteI had a bad feeling about this game.
40-23 Georgetown.
ReplyDeleteDidn't I tell you I had a gad feeling about this game?
Doris Burke is very underrated. It's nice to see ESPN giving her such a big Big East game.
ReplyDeleteThis half has reminded me of the 1st half of the 'Nova-MD game. Had to be frustrating for Cats fans
ReplyDelete"That guy had his 5-Hour Energy, otherwise he would not be out there like that." - Dave Pasch on a random guy who was making a trek in the snow.
ReplyDeleteAt least Nova looks a little more awake now than they did in the first half. That's a plus.
ReplyDelete@ kt: Frustrating yes, but they need a wake up call game as well. They've been playing close games against teams they should be blowing out.
ReplyDeleteCan we make a run here, Nova? Please? For me?
ReplyDeleteWisconsin @ Michigan 4:00 (CBS - Kevin Harlan and Bill Raftery)
ReplyDeleteCalifornia @ UCLA 4:00 (CBS - Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery)
Holy crap I just realized I made Bill Raftery Superman!
Nova can't make a 3 for the life of them.
ReplyDeleteGeorgetown looks like a legit Final 4 team today
ReplyDeleteyou're right JFein, Doris Burke is good. she may be among ESPN's top 4 basketball analysts
all right, i've flipped to the end of Wake/UVA
ReplyDeleteIt's astonishing Villanova is within 14 in this game.
ReplyDeleteIsh Smith does it again!
ReplyDeletebut Landsberg ties it for the Cavs! 55-55 14.5 secs to go
OT in Charlottesville and Wake has the lead
ReplyDeleteWHY CAN'T WE MAKE AN EFFING 3 THIS HALF!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGTown is playing not to lose and we can't take advantage of it.
UVA is the definition of a 1-man team
ReplyDeleteYou know what's sad and pathetic? Despite the fact that they were down 23, Villanova really had chances to comeback and win this game in the 2nd half. And if they can start making them, they may still have a chance.
ReplyDeletethese refs are stopping the game every 10 seconds to check positioning behind the line...just check it on the next dead ball and let the game continue
ReplyDelete"Right now the hitting is beating the pitching" Mike Gminiski making the most tortured baseball analogy ever
ReplyDeletethe end of this game is basically Ish Smith v Sylvan
ReplyDeleteand the refs are reviewing something else now. they have killed the flow of this OT
Wake beats UVA 64-61 in OT
ReplyDelete"The number 2 team in the country gets snow plowed in the nation' capital." - Dave Pasch
ReplyDeleteGTown 103-90.
ReplyDeleteAt least Nova played one half of basketball today, even if it was marred by missed opportunities and missed 3s.
Mike Patrick is slurping some hard Coach K dong right about now.
ReplyDeleteand stupid weather coverage is preventing me from watching Bill Raftery. He and Harland are the only 2 announcers that could make Big 10 basketball interesting.
ReplyDeleteFire Rick Barnes Now!
ReplyDelete@ kt: And GuJo.
ReplyDeleteCongratufations are in order to Emmitt Smiff on making the Hell of Fame.
ReplyDelete@JFein yes, i'll have to give you GuJo
ReplyDeleteevery time Texas is going to make this game interesting, Oklahoma makes a big shot.
ReplyDeleteLOL Nova...........
ReplyDeleteOklahoma is closing out the Longhorns
ReplyDeletei'll repeat myself:Fire Rick Barnes Now!
ReplyDelete@JFein: Can you e-mail me the link to where you found the college basketball announcing schedule?
ReplyDeleteVA Tech beats Clemson 70-59
ReplyDeletecue the inevitable late season Clemson slide
@ 49er16: They needed that wake up call.
ReplyDeleteCurrently I am watching The Leight Show with the Philadelphia Flyers and Minnesota Wild!
