Friday, October 9, 2009: SACRAMENTO, CA -- Sacramento Kings swingman Francisco Garcia today fractured his right forearm during a weight lifting session before practice. He will undergo surgery tomorrow morning. Garcia is currently in his fifth NBA season (all with the Kings). Well Kings fan, God officially hates us. Between game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, losing 17 games last year and not getting the first overall draft choice, to this.
Garcia is one of the few Kings players who plays defense and Garcia would have also been the Kings third leading scorer. Now with Garcia injured, the Kings have to look to Desmond Mason, Donte Green, Andres Nocioni, and rookie Omri Casspi to replace Garcia for at least six weeks now.
And why was Garcia lifting weights? And what was he lifting? Was he lifting Sean May?
