With the NBA Finals on right now I started thinking back. Remember when the NBA Finals used to be on NBC? NBC I thought did the best job with the NBA. It also helped that NBC carried the Finals during the Jordan Era. But what I remember the most about the NBA on NBC, was the opening song.
"Roundball Rock" by John Tesh was the opening theme song to the NBA on NBC. It is in my opinion the greatest theme song of all-time. You listen to that theme song and you were pumped for the NBA Finals.
