4 Yankees 0 Orioles: A-Roid hit a three-run home run on the very first pitch he saw of the night. That was all what Crispy Crunch Sabathia needed. Sabathia threw a four-hitter complete game. Interesting part of the game occurred when New York's Nick Swisher was picked off third base in the fourth inning when umpire Tim Tschida ruled third base coach Rob Thomson pushed the runner back to the bag. THOSE DAMN, YANKEES.
10 Phillies 6 Atlanta: Cole Hamels picked up his first victory since last year's World Series. Hamels pitched six innings giving up three hits and two runs. Jayson Werth, Chris Coste, and Chase Utley each homered for Philly. Scary thought about the game though, Brad Lidge gave up three runs, including two home runs in the ninth. Could we be seeing this Brad Lidge again? Just wondering?

1 Tigers 0 Indians: Justin Verlander struck out 11 to pick up his second victory in a week against the Indians. Curtis Granderson made a game-saving catch in the ninth inning with a runner on first. Indians pitcher Cliff Lee pitched well, but picked up his fifth win of the season. I wonder how many heaters Jim Leyland burned in during this game?
6 Rangers 0 White Sox: The curious case of the Chicago White Sox continues. Thursday night they won 6-0. Last night they lost 6-0. This team can win and lose in spectacular fashion. Once again Jose Contreras was shelled for the White Sox. He improved his fantastic record to 0-5. Rangers pitcher Matt Harrison on the other hand, was just the opposite. He pitched a complete-game shutout. I am sure Ozzie is pleased.
3 Giants 1 Dodgers: If Manny Ramirez wasn't suspended, the Dodgers would have won this game. The Dodgers left nine men on base. Barry Zito walked the leadoff runner for the first five innings, but he was able to shut down the team. Zito picked up the victory, his first of the year. Zito keeps improving every week. The best part of this game, is the Giants won the only way they know. Their three runs came on two sacrifice fly's and one infield hit. It's the Giants way.
5 Nationals 4 Diamondbacks: How's that new manager Arizona? Jesus Flores drove in two runs for the Nationals. Also Adam Dunn homered for the Nationals.
A.J. Hinch Quote: “Obviously we left a lot of guys on base, had some opportunities which you always reflect on, but the effort was there. I felt like the intensity was high. We came up a run short, which is unfortunate.” Obviously Hinch was not the answer for Arizona.
