Baseball Update: Jake Peavy Traded to White Sox

Rumors circulated a long time that San Diego Padres pitcher Jake Peavy would be traded to Chicago. Well according to Jon Heyman, Peavy has been traded to Chicago but to the Chicago White Sox. Peavy has to waive his no-trade clause to make the deal official.

The White Sox have been struggling have one of the worst pitching staffs in the Majors. Peavy would certainly bolster the rotation. And how bad the AL Central is, the White Sox will always have a chance to make the playoffs.
