So can the Celtics be stopped?
They have played the third weakest schedule this season. Tonight they play the New Orleans Hornets, and their schedule from here will get harder. They will have to go on a west coast road trip that is grueling for any team.
Paul Pierce is the true leader of the team, and Kevin Garnett hasn't slowed down at all. Also their offense can work in a variety of different ways. Last night alone they had 31 assists off of 44 shots. Their execution is so precise, that they could tell a team what is coming and not be stopped.
While I don't think they will 70, 67-69 wins is plausible. They will have a tough time in the playoffs because both Cleveland and Orlando are much improved and could give the Celtics a hard time. But with all that said, I don't see anyone stopping the Celtics right now.
