2010 College Football Preview: Predictions & Projections

I hate making predictions. I'm terrible when I make them. It's one of many reasons why I should never work in a sports book. When I worked at my dad's company in high school we would make NFL picks every week for a few bucks. I lost every week which included losses to the secretary. So needless to say bet against me. So why am I making college football predictions? Because I've ran out of teams, coaches, issues to preview that's why. So enough of me talking and on with the predictions.

ACC Champion: Virginia Tech
Coastal Divsison: Virginia Tech
Atlantic Division: Boston College
Player of the Year: Tyrod Taylor, Quarterback, Virginia Tech

Player of the Year: Jamie Hampton, Quarterback, Troy

WAC Champion: Boise State

My Heisman winner and BCS bowl projections will fluctuate from week to week depending on how well a team is performing and of course losses. Right now I have Boise State on the outside looking in on the national championship game. If two or more BCS conference teams are undefeated at the end of the season, no way Boise State is voted into the national championship game. I hope I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I have.

National Championship Game: Alabama vs. Ohio State
Rose Bowl: Oregon vs. Boise State
Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs. Nebraska
Orange Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Virginia Tech
Fiesta Bowl: Pittsburgh vs. Texas
Heisman Winner: Dion Lewis, Running Back, Pittsburgh

  2. Ah Keith. I thought you were a big Boise State supporter? You don't have them in the title game?
