Do We Have A New Candidate For The Ewing Theory?
Bill Simmons Ewing Theory is quite simple. Any player who receives significant media attention either leaves his team through injury, graduation, or trade/free agency and that team improves without him qualifies for the Ewing Theory. Well we might have someone new to add to the Ewing Theory list and his name is Luke Harangody.

Notre Dame's Harangody was a preseason All-American and was considered a front runner for the National Player of the Year. Notre Dame has won three straight games without Harangody, including last night's victory over UConn. Unheralded Jake Cooley has filled in nicely for Harangody with a lot of grit and hustle that the Irish fans have appreciated. Because of Notre Dame's late surge without Harangody, he immediately picks up consideration for the Ewing Theory.

I Don't Like Him, But Damn
I hate everything about Greivis Vasquez. His hair, the way he speaks, his parents, his dumb dance, the country he's from, everything. But damn he can ball when he feels like it. Vasquez wrapped up the ACC Player of the Year last night with his clutch performance against Duke, which included this crazy play.



Of course what would a Duke game be without at least one Duke player being dunked on?

Girl Fight!
After the UConn women, the talk of woman's college basketball is Brittney Griner of Baylor. She can dunk and David Stern even talked about the ability of her to play in the NBA. Well last night Griner kind of lost her cool against Texas Tech player Jordan Barncastle. Griner and Barncastle got in a tussle with each other and Griner ended up punching Barncastle.



Was That a Porn Star at the Kansas-Kansas State game?
Yep a porn star attended the KU-K-State game last night. Samantha Ryan a adult film star attended last night's game. KU assistant Kurtis Townsend gave Ryan great seats for the game. I can't imagine KU is very happy with Townsend for giving a porn star those seats.
