Inside the Paint: Where I attend a Kings Game

Denver 101 Sacramento 106: I'm proud to say I saw one of the Kings best games this year. Sure Chauncey Billups was out for Denver and Tyreke Evans was out for Sacramento. The Kings though finally finished a game, something they couldn't do in overtime against Cleveland and the Lakers. Donte Greene played Carmelo Anthony great on the defensive end and added 17 points. Andres Nocioni lead all Kings scorers with 21 points off the bench.

Los Angeles Lakers 103 Phoenix 118: The Suns out-played the Lakers so badly Phil Jackson had this to say about his team, “I wasn’t comfortable with my starters or my bench,” Jackson said. “I didn’t like either group. Guys didn’t play right. We had the inside game going for us, yet we just didn’t attack.” Phoenix payed back the Lakers for their two thrashings the Lakers gave them earlier this year.

Boston 99 Golden State 103: 25 is the number the Celtics will look at when reviewing their loss to the Warriors. 25 is how many turnovers the Celtics had against the Warriors. The Celtics have now lost two straight west coast road games to two of the worst teams in the league. Monta Ellis scored 37 points while playing all 48 minutes for the Warriors. Celtics shot 26% from behind the arc, which could be a reason why they lost..............

Philadelphia 104 Portland 93: There was an actual Elton Brand sighting in the game. Brand scored 25 points off the bench and had this to say after the game, “We attacked. That’s really all it was. We attacked,” Brand said. Maybe if you attacked more Elton, you wouldn't be 8-22 on the year. Jason Smith had a Voskuhl in the game for Philadelphia.

Washington 111 Memphis 116: The Grizzlies squandered a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter and had to go to an extra period. It didn't matter as they were playing the Wizards. Memphis scored 14 points in the overtime period while Washington only scored 9 points. Z-Bo scored 23 points and grabbed 19 rebounds for the Grizzlies.

Picture of the Night: NBA coaches continue to give us the best faces.
