Houston 111 Golden State 109: Aaron Brooks hit two free throws with 2.1 seconds to give Houston their eighth straight win over Golden State. Brooks lead all scorers with 25 points and Kyle Lowry scored 11 points. Lowry scored eight of his 11 points in a wild fourth quarter that saw the Rockets down by 10 at one point. Warriors coach Don Nelson returned to the bench from his bout with pneumonia.
Miami 96 Denver 114: Amazing stat of the night, Dwayne Wade is 0-6 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Wade lead all scorers with 25 points but Miami was blown out in the game. Wade has no idea why Miami has been unsuccessful in Denver, “I don’t know. They’re better than us in this building,” he said. “They’re better than us a majority of the time we’ve been here. I think they’re 11-3 vs. us. The style of play, especially here, getting out, they’ve got a lot of athletic guys around the basket, this is a good ballclub.” Sounds good to me.
