San Antonio 94 Dallas 99 in OT: Dirk Nowitzki scored 11 of his 41 points in overtime to beat San Antonio. Tim Duncan scored 22 points in the game for San Antonio, but had 0 points in overtime. Afterward, Duncan blamed himself for the loss. “I know I played badly in the overtime,” Duncan said. “The OT wasn’t good for us and Dirk really took over and won it for his team.” You may not like the way Duncan plays, but you have to admit he's the ultimate team player.
New York 110 Indiana 103: *Slow golf clap for the Knicks* The Knicks won only their second game of the season. Of course, that was against the bad Indiana Pacers but still. Al Harrington scored 26 points off the bench and the Knicks scored 34 points in the fourth quarter, to come back and beat Indiana. Pacer Danny Granger had 30 points at halftime, but only scored three points from there. Also today is the 5th anniversary of "The Brawl" at the Palace.
Miami 90 Atlanta 105: The Hawks are kind of good. They lead the Eastern Conference and are finally in the discussion as one of the best teams in the league. The Hawks defense is what was impressive last night. The Hawks held Miami to 44% from the field and held Dwayne Wade to 15 points.
Detroit 81 Portland 87: The Trail Blazers almost blew the lead to Detroit late in the fourth quarter. After the Pistons cut the lead to just one point with 1:29, Steve Blake hit a three and finally put the lead out of reach from Detroit. Both Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points for Portland. The team talked about almost giving the game away.

You have to laugh anytime Duncan gets mad. He just doesn't look serious.
