Yesterday both the lower seeds and home teams (yeah that doesn't make sense to me either) won their games against the higher seeds and will now travel for three games at the higher seeds stadium. Yesterday though there were some great highlights and we start that off with this tremendous catch by Jon Jay.
Ichiro scored the first run of the Orioles-Yankees game in one of the most creative ways possible.
Orioles closer Jim Johnson blew game 1 and gave the Yankees a victory. Last night Jim Johnson closed out the Yankees in three batters without breaking a sweat.
Today both the Bay Area teams try to survive by staving off elimination. The Giants must do it on the road while the A's are at home.
