I got an email the other day from RJBO wondering if there would be an open thread for Saturday's college basketball game. This gave me an opportunity to work on a schedule for the rest of March.
I've been baseball heavy this past month but I was baseball heavy because the NFL season is over, the NBA and NHL had barely played their all-star games, and college basketball wasn't over yet. Well the college basketball season ends this weekend and we'll head into conference tournaments. (Some conference tournaments have already began). Here's the posts I'll have scheduled for the upcoming weeks.
Open Threads: Justin appears to be busy preparing to ruin his life by entering the realm of teaching. (I'll give him 6 years before he looks for another job.) So there will be open threads for not only this coming Saturday, but also for the rest of the upcoming week for the conference tournaments.
Justin always had a live blog up for the Big East Tournament, but I don't have time myself to live blog the early Big East tournament games. So there will be open threads this entire upcoming week for not only the Big East tournament, but the rest of the tournament as well.
Live Blogs: The first live blog I'll host for college basketball will be next Sunday. Why next Sunday? Because that's when the tournament field is selected. After that I'll have a live blog for the entire tournament, including the play-in Dayton games.
That's the schedule for right now. I don't know what Justin's plans are at the moment. He might live blog the Big East tournament championship or not. I don't know. Regardless of his plans this is my schedule right now. It can change depending on Justin's schedule.
Gotta love March.
I was think we could muster a live blog next Saturday for the ACC semis, B1G semis, Big East championship, and the other championship games.
ReplyDeleteWith Villanova sucking and my work, live blogging the first three days of the Big East tournament are probably out of the question this year.
I am going to be so depressed when I cannot make the 2nd round March Madness live blogs until 3:30 ET. That Friday is the last day of my placement. Maybe I can convince my co-op to let me go a bit early as I am finished teaching classes before the final bell rings.
