Great Night To Be A Kings Fan

Over the past couple of weeks it's been fun again to watch Sacramento Kings games. Slowly the young guys on the Kings are starting to put everything together and have even won 4 out of their last 5 games.

Last night was a great night to be a Kings fan again. The Kings started out fast, blew the lead, were down by 9-points with 6 minutes left in the game, and somehow won 106-101.

It has been fun watching the progression of the Kings lately. Yes they still make dumb plays and take bad shots. Yes they still have problems playing defense and give Russell Westbrook a free lane to a monster dunk (video above). It's just nice to see the Kings fight back in games that they're down in.

At the beginning of the season if the Kings were down in a game they would basically quit and the game would end in a blowout. Lately though the Kings haven't quit when they don't have an lead against an opponent and have actually fought back and either won those games (against New Orleans) or came damn close to winning (against Minnesota).

The Kings still have a long ways to go but it's fun again watching the Kings play basketball. Now hopefully Sacramento can get a arena built.
