Michigan vs Virginia Tech! Feel the excitement of two teams that didn't win their conferences playing in a BCS bowl game. Hell at least Va Tech won their conference division. Michigan won squat. But enjoy this game folks because there isn't much college football left. Leave comments and don't be a troll.
I might not be around until the 2nd half of this game.
ReplyDeleteDoes this game really need a 30 minute separate pre-game? At least it's not the Orange Bowl pregame....
ReplyDeleteI hope they do not have the weird camera angles here like they did at the New Orleans Bowl.
ReplyDeleteVaTech donated tickets they couldn't sell to "Gulf Coast fans of the Hokies." #All10OfThem
ReplyDeleteTom Rinaldi? New Orleans?
ReplyDelete/over-under of Katrina redemption series set at 2.5
//too soon?
Wendi Nix already stepped in it saying "fans from all over are flooding into New Orleans." #ShouldaBeenRinaldi
ReplyDeleteIt's the weird Pac-12 ref guy! #OddFaces
ReplyDelete"AllState Super Bowl is heads." - Referee #CloseEnough
ReplyDeleteNessler: "Well, the fun is over." Bourbon Street or the actual bowl game quality?
ReplyDeleteMatt Millen on the radio side #AvoidAtAllCause #KillMe
ReplyDeleteWow. That was an ugly kickoff.

ReplyDeleteGeez. The effect of no David Molk already showing. #BadSnap
ReplyDelete"That means Mr. Excitement will bring it out, Denard Robinson." - Brad Nessler
ReplyDeleteMr. Excitement sounds like a nickname a porn star's wife uses for her husband.
The bad tackling is supposed to be in New Orleans Saturday night, not tonight. #Lions
ReplyDeleteMichigan has no answers for David Wilson early.
ReplyDelete"The big man is athletic man" Millen
ReplyDeleteYou're going the wrong way, VaTech. 2nd and goal at the 31(!)
ReplyDeleteKicker #3 nails the FG. 3-0 VaTech.
ReplyDeleteNessler: "That was right down Bourbon Street."
"Right down Bourbon Street." - Brad Nessler
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he too discovered #92ozMillerLitefor$10.
David Molk is gonna give it a go at center. Otherwise, Michigan would've arranged for Phil Costa to handle shotgun snaps.
ReplyDeleteVaTech's ends have gone to school on these Denard handoffs/scrambles.
ReplyDeleteOh Denard.....
ReplyDeleteDenard is picked off by Fuller!
ReplyDeleteAnd was that girl in the crowd crying?
I didn't think so, Justin, but she was pretty close to.
ReplyDeleteI really can't say this game is as riveting as the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl last night.
ReplyDelete#Understatement, Justin
ReplyDeleteThis is more like the 1st half of the Outback Bowl.
The good news is tomorrow's Orange Bowl will almost certainly be worse.
ReplyDeleteThe Kings have come back from 17 to tie Memphis at halftime. #KnowsNoOneCares
ReplyDeleteMillen just compared Wilson to Shady McCoy.
ReplyDeleteAndy Reid back with the Eagles makes sense. AJ Smith and Norv Turner back with the Chargers is a conspiracy to turn away San Diego residents in order to move to Los Angeles. #ThisCouldBeTrue
ReplyDeleteThis Nelly song almost makes me long for the day when ESPN used Nickelback during all the bowl games. Almost.
ReplyDeleteAfter a quarter, it's the Hokies 3-0. Boise State is throwing potatoes at their HDTV's. #30-0After1Broncos
ReplyDelete"No rain checks and no rain checks here in the Superdome" McDonough
ReplyDeleteThe Sixers have only played four games thus far, with none of them being at home.
ReplyDelete/home opener January 6 against Detroit
//why do I feel RJBO won't be watching?
Hokies should go for it on 4th and 3.
ReplyDeleteJustin, the Pistons are absolutely unwatchable.
ReplyDelete6-0 Hokies.
I predicted the Kings would either sneak into the playoffs or implode. I didn't think they would implode this soon.
ReplyDeleteWisconsin is having a bad couple of days. #BuzzerBeater
ReplyDeleteActually that was Sparty that lost on the buzzer beater because the clock was fucked up. Izzo going apeshit.
ReplyDeleteWisconsin just got #Steratore'd
ReplyDeleteI'm confused who lost that game now.
ReplyDeleteMICHIGAN, CAN YOU FREAKING COVER SOMEONE ON 3RD DOWN?????
ReplyDeleteNo they can't. Why do you ask?
ReplyDeleteGERG has come back to Ann Arbor, Michigan! #TheRock #SorryRJBO
ReplyDeleteGo for it, VaTech! #Boatrace
ReplyDeleteA STOP! #Miracle
ReplyDeleteOh yea a Kenny Albert sighting in Dallas tonight on NBCSN.
ReplyDeleteVPI should have taken the points
ReplyDeleteChuck Hayes needs to work on his outlet passes. #Understatement
ReplyDeleteThis game is borizzzzzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteBad time to take that penalty VPI
ReplyDeleteHokies aren't allowing the requisite Denard 60+ yard jump ball completion.
ReplyDeleteMichigan lucky to get that roughing the punter call.
This game doesn't sound boring on radio. #WaitingForMillenToSoundLikeAnIdiot
ReplyDelete"However, our opinion doesn't matter" McDonough
ReplyDeleteMatt Millen sounds like he wants to draft Denard Robinson.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what Bama does to Denard in JerrahWorld next September. If he doesn't opt to be a 5th round returner.
ReplyDeleteThe Sacramento Kings: WHAT THE FUCK IS REBOUNDING?
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN HEMINGWAY! #DenardHeave
ReplyDeleteLOL VPI
ReplyDeleteVPI in a nutshell. #Shouldn'tBeHere
ReplyDeleteDenard usually completes 1 or 2 of those jump balls for TDs or huge gains every game.
ReplyDeleteA Fumble! But probably a facemask on Michigan
ReplyDeleteIT STANDS! MICHIGAN BALL!
ReplyDeleteWell that was fun.
ReplyDeleteSo many dangerous passes by Denard.
ReplyDeleteWHA?????
ReplyDeleteI just can't be upset when something like that happens to VPI.
ReplyDeleteBusiness has picked up boys.
ReplyDelete10-6 Michigan at the half, inexplicably.
ReplyDeleteTommy Heihnson is impressed with Stacey King's homerism.
ReplyDeleteI despise Stacey King. #PASSTHEHOTSAUCE! #TooBigTooFastTooStrongTooGood
ReplyDeletegbdawkins greg dawkins
ReplyDeleteTHIS JUST IN: Michigan fans wear mom jeans. The dudes.
IS THIS TRUE RJBO?
I need visual evidence, Keith.... #IfSo,That'sWorseThanJorts
ReplyDeleteI need visual evidence, Keith....
ReplyDeleteLook below your waist. #RJBOWearsMomPants #BaselessRumor
Well played, Keith. #TeamNoPantsTonight
ReplyDeleteAndy Reid timeout by Michigan right of halftime. #BretBielemaAlsoApproves
ReplyDeleteAny possible way to exhume the corpse of Johnny 'Red' Kerr? #TeamAntiStaceyKing
ReplyDeleteA HORRIBLE PICK BY DENARD
ReplyDeleteStacey King is horrendous.
ReplyDeleteThe pick is overturned!
ReplyDeleteKing: "Drive home safely. Beep Beep!" #KillMe
ReplyDeleteWHAT A PICK BY CLARK!
ReplyDeleteStacey King makes me want to shoot my TV with a 12-gage shotgun with buckshot. #MyGod
ReplyDeleteCan we at least get half the points in this game as we did in last night's games?
ReplyDeleteDenard keeps getting bailed out on these INTs......
ReplyDeleteWHAT A CATCH BY HEMINGWAY! TOUCHDOWN MICHIGAN!
ReplyDeleteOne of these teams are throwing the game.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't Boise St or Kansas St here? #VPIBlows
ReplyDeleteThe Pac-12/B1G alliance already coming in handy. #BadPac-12Officiating
ReplyDelete17-9 Michigan after they force another VaTech FG. #zzzzzz
ReplyDeleteSigns: "Spartan Tears Taste Like Sugar." Would be funnier if Michigan would've beaten the Spartans since 2007...
ReplyDeleteVaTech driving.
I see the bad 3rd and long defense is the same on 4th and 11. Geez.
ReplyDelete"Logan Thomas's best throws are his feet" Millen
ReplyDeletePI in the end zone on Blake Countess (Michigan's best DB). VaTech's best chance to actually score a TD.
ReplyDeleteTD sneak by Logan Thomas. 2-pointer time?
ReplyDeleteWe are tied. Crap.
ReplyDelete@RJBO The only explanation. Matt Millen is working the game.
ReplyDeleteMichigan can gain absolutely nothing on 1st downs tonight.
ReplyDeleteJaRon Hosley has been everywhere tonight. Can you play DB for the Lions Saturday?
ReplyDeleteConfession: I"m watching the WJC game now.
ReplyDeleteHokies call timeout to debate whether to go for it on 4th and 1 past midfield.
ReplyDeleteSmart move, Justin. #NoFlowOrOffenseInNAwlins
ReplyDeleteOh, Hokies.... #BeamerBallFail
ReplyDelete"Too bad Eberle is 21." - Gord Miller
ReplyDeleteReally? West Virginia is just another school from Virginia? #Maybein1860
ReplyDelete@Justin I miss Pierre McGuire
ReplyDeleteWow. That was close by Strome.
ReplyDelete20-17 Michigan after the FG. 4:00 for VaTech to tie/win. #WatchTheWJCInstead
ReplyDeleteMichigan can't cover, but they sure can hit.
ReplyDeleteRussia wins 6-5.
ReplyDelete/back to New Orleans
//nothing can save me now
Watch Bait Car instead, Justin. #truTVCrapola
ReplyDeleteCOVER SOMEBODY, DAMMIT!
ReplyDeleteBoy am I happy Greg Mattison's D is RJBO's problem now.
ReplyDeleteMichigan's problem is lacking talent in the secondary. Blake Countess (though short) is talented. #OlneyMD
ReplyDeleteIf Canada scored, Gord Miller would of had the biggest orgasm in the booth. #True #GuJoOfHockey
ReplyDeleteCoale inside the 10 and out of bounds with 52 seconds left
ReplyDeleteFALSE START VATECH!
ReplyDeleteGO FOR A TD FOOLS!
ReplyDeleteVaTech will rely on a 3rd string kicker to make a chip shot FG to tie the game. #UGA #Stanford
ReplyDeleteICED
ReplyDeleteAs Keith said yesterday, don't play to lose.
ReplyDeleteTied at 20
ReplyDeleteOT in New Orleans...depending on a return.
ReplyDelete"As my good friend Bill Raftery would say. ONIONS!!!!!" McDonough
ReplyDeleteMichigan's gonna lose. #Eeyore'd #Schleprock'd
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if one of these teams had, you know, balls to play to win this thing.
ReplyDelete@ RJBO: Wait? Hardcore Pawn is not on anymore?
ReplyDelete/Brando's favorite show
Hahaha Justin. I've actually seen an episode of Bait Car before.
ReplyDeleteMichigan wins the toss and plays D.
ReplyDeleteWHAT A CATCH BY COALE! TOUCHDOWN!
ReplyDeleteWHAT A CATCH BY COALE!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteDid he complete the process? #Steratore
ReplyDeleteThat replay is close, I think the ground helped him make the catch.
ReplyDeleteWas that out of bounds?
ReplyDeleteMatt Millen thinks he didn't think it was a catch.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's a touchdown.
ReplyDeleteAny dicey call has gone the way of Michigan. #Pac-12Refs
ReplyDeleteThe thing was Millen called it quickly.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteNOT A TOUCHDOWN!!!!
ReplyDeleteNO GOOD!
ReplyDeleteNO GOOD!
ReplyDeleteLOL VPI! WIDE RIGHT!
ReplyDeleteOh VPI...
ReplyDeleteDid Danny Coale get into a brawl with a transvestite on Bourbon Street? #Cuts&BruisesToTheFace
ReplyDeleteMichigan's gonna miss this FG. #ConservativePlayCalling
ReplyDeleteWay to be conservative, Michigan. 37 yard field goals are no gimmes, especially at the college level.
ReplyDeleteThese teams are playing not to lose. #UsuallyFails
ReplyDeleteMICHIGAN WINS!
ReplyDeleteGOOD! MICHIGAN WINS!
ReplyDeleteFor all the car insurance....
ReplyDeleteMICHIGAN WINS!
I hope VPI never, ever gets invited back into a BCS game.
ReplyDelete@ Kris: I hope you do not have to deal with any VPI fans tomorrow. That was a, uh, very questionable ending.
ReplyDelete@Kris Agreed. #ShouldOfBeenBoiseStOrKansasSt
ReplyDeleteAs ugly and brutal as this was, I'll take it.
ReplyDeleteB1G! B1G! B1G! B1G! #Kidding
@Justin I can buy them off with some moonshine.
ReplyDeleteMcDonough is questioning the OT system that they start in FG range.
ReplyDeleteWith a Top-10 recruiting class and Denard coming back (that's a positive?), Michigan will be ranked in the Preseason Top 8. #YeahISaidIt
ReplyDelete...but they're replacing most of both lines and need some playmakers at CB/WR. #UndeservedHype
Good news, this was Matt Millen's last game of the year. #SmallMiracles #OhWaitHeWasOnRadio
ReplyDeleteBTW, Crazy Face Jay Stricherz should never ref another BCS game...ever. #RonCherry'd
ReplyDelete@longley The drives should start at the 50. You have to get at least 1 first down before getting the FG try.
ReplyDelete@Kris It would make more sense. Playing not to lose makes me sick.
ReplyDeleteThe Chairman of Allstate went to Michigan? #Controversy!
ReplyDeleteI did not think that was a touchdown at first, but now, I am not so sure. I slowed it down with my DVR, watched it up close, and could not tell whether or not the ball hit the ground without Coale having possession. How the refs conclusively determined that ball hit the ground is beyond me.
ReplyDelete@RJBO State of Michigan 2 for 2 in the Superdome this week?
ReplyDeleteSorry, Kris. It'll be 1 for 2. #45-27Saints
ReplyDelete@Justin I thought the point of the ball hit the ground, which allowed Coale to control it. But, who the hell knows.
ReplyDeleteNessler: "Fitting someone named Hemingway could write a chapter this good."
ReplyDeleteNessler: "Michigan is back to being Michigan." Until September 1st in JerrahWorld. #Alabama
