This is the open thread for the college football games until the World Series starts later the night when we'll move from this thread and comment in the live blog. Until the World Series though, enjoy whatever game you are watching, leave comments, and don't be a troll.
We'll move over to the live blog before 8 eastern, 5 Pacific.
UNC with a early armpunt.
ReplyDelete...there's no way Purdue can gag away a 21-0 halftime lead in the last few minutes, right?
ReplyDeletePurdue recovers the on-side attempt.

Why is Minnesota vs Nebraska on ABC?
ReplyDeleteHOLY SHIT! Shaun King has gotten fat.
ReplyDeleteI have Maryland and Florida State on ESPN2.
ReplyDelete/wonders where Kris is right now
Apparently my school decided to see what Arena Football was like.
ReplyDelete/35-21 West Chester at halftime
//we're undefeated
///this is not good
TOUCHDOWN BU HUSKIES!
ReplyDelete/listening to the online radio stream
//it's the announcers that you could not stand last year, Keith.
@Justin I'm going to watch a quarter and a half, or until FSU is up 28-0; whichever comes first.
ReplyDeleteHOLY SHIT WE WERE TRAILING 35-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd now Bloomsburg are 5 yards away from tying the game. Holy shit!
35-0!!!!!!!!!
/just tuned in
//was running errands in the afternoon
I hate Boise State's uniforms today.
ReplyDeleteWe're settling for a field goal. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteFAKE! THEY'RE THROWING! TOUCHDOWN! ALL THE WAY BACK FROM 35-0!!!!!
I hate Boise State's uniforms today.
ReplyDeleteI hate Maryland's uniforms everyday.
/sorry Kris
Looking at Maryland's uniforms today, makes me hate that school even more. No wonder Gary Williams left tread marks high tailing it out of there. He didn't want to be associated with those uniforms.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have a root canal than watch Maryland try to play "defense."
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I think FSU broke a tackle on every play of the 2nd drive. 14-0.
@Keith Edsall is far more offensive to me at this point. This is pathetic.
ReplyDeleteAnd now West Chester have a high snap on a pump and the punter is wraped up. This is a collapse of Red Sox-ian proportions
ReplyDelete/realizes no one else cares about my D2 Football school
//I will comment anyway
45-35 Bloom with just a couple minutes left in the third.
ReplyDeleteNot only does the ACC have sucky teams, they also have sucky officials.
ReplyDelete@TimBrando
ReplyDeleteI hate combat uniforms, but as they go LSU's get a passing grade. The color scheme and Jersey striping distinguishes their tradition.
Tim Brando: master of fashion
West Chester miss a field goal!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha!
ReplyDelete@Justin Yellow jumpsuit, anyone?
ReplyDeleteBloom punts, and West Chester rough the kicker.
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, it was 4th and 29.
First down. Wow.
55-35. Wow.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown WCU. Likely too little too late as Bloom recovers the onside kick.
ReplyDeleteI can't find any information on Division Three football, but this Bloom game shatters the record for biggest D2 comeback ever (previous record was 29) and it matches the biggest comeback Division I football history (Michigan State-Northwestern) in 2006. The Wikipedia page says that Michigan State-Northwestern game was the biggest comeback in NCAA history.
So there's that, I guess.
Game over. 55-42. Biggest comeback in D2 Football history.
ReplyDeleteGonna grab dinner. I'll be right back.
ReplyDelete"This is the time you learn how to win." - Temple-Bowling Green analyst.
ReplyDeleteJuan Castillo approves of Maryland's defense.
ReplyDeleteTemple is 56.1 seconds away from losing to Bowling Green.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've actually seen Mike Patrick this year. Wow. Maybe it's that he no longer has the red hair, but he looks like he's aged 30 years since I last saw him on TV.
ReplyDeleteBowling Green upsets Temple. 13-10.
ReplyDeleteNorthwestern are doing Maryland proud tonight.
ReplyDeleteFor some bizarre reason, Mercyhurst and California (PA) are on ESPN3. For some bizarre reason, I am watching it.
ReplyDelete26-26 heading into overtime.
I'm starting the live blog with the commencement of the Penn State-Northwestern game.
