Foul Ball: Let's Play Two!

Colorado 12, Arizona 4: I'll say this about the Rockies offense, once they get going they are hard to stop. The Rockies were down 3-0 to the Snakes before scoring two or more runs in four consecutive innings. Carlos Gonzalez hit two home runs in the game and added four RBIs. Dexter Fowler and Troy Tulowitzki also added two RBIs. The Rockies did take a major blow though in the game when starting pitcher Jorge De La Rosa had to leave the game with an elbow injury. He's going to miss the rest of the year.

Colorado 2, Arizona 5:  Arizona got the split against Colorado thanks to Kelly Johnson. Johnson hit a home run, double, and drove in two runs to help the Snakes. Joe Saunders picked up his first victory of the year for Arizona going eight innings and giving up six hits and two runs. Saunders did give up two home runs though which isn't good.

Cleveland 2, Boston 4: The Red Sox have finally won in Cleveland. After losing five straight games in Cleveland to start the year, the Red Sox behind Josh Beckett finally beat the Indians. Beckett pitched 6 2/3 innings giving up five hits and one run. Old man Jason Varitek hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning to give Boston their two-run victory.

Baltimore 5, Kansas City 3: Good win for the Orioles. The Birds scored three-runs in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind to beat the Orioles. Felix Pie drove in the first run and then Adam Jones hit a walkoff two-run home run.

Detroit 7, Tampa Bay 6: The Alex Avila show in Detroit was fun to watch. Avila hit home runs in the sixth and eighth innings, with the eighth inning home run proving to be the game-wining hit. Impressive that the Tigers won this game because Justin Verlander sucked something awful in this game. Verlander sucking though gave way to my main man Al Alburquerque picking up the victory.

Philadelphia 3, Cincinnati 6: The Reds finally snapped their 6-game losing streak and their personal losing streak to the Phillies! And they can thank Jay Bruce and Ryan Madson for helping them snapping these streaks.

New York 5, Toronto 4: The Blue Jays had this game won and then they didn't. The Jays gave up two runs in the eighth inning and then gave up the game-winning two runs in the ninth inning. Curtis Granderson tied the game with a single and then Mrs. Teixeira won the game with a single.

Pittsburgh 0, Atlanta 2: Eric Hinske beached himself like a whale to make a great catch and help Jair Jurrjens pick up the shutout. Jurrjens pitched 7 2/3 innings and gave up no runs and six hits and struck out four. Martin Prado and Brooks "Between the Legs" Conrad drove in the two runs for the Braves.

Video of the Day: Because of a tornado threat, fans in Arlington had to go through the dugout into the ballparks basement to escape the wrath of mother nature.
