Tuesday Night Open Thread
We have the rare Tuesday Night NFL game tonight between the Vikings and Eagles. Some guy named Joe Webb will be starting tonight for the Vikings. We also have a couple of bowl games tonight. The Champ Sports Bowl that starts at 3:30 PT between West Virginia and North Carolina State and the Insight Bowl between Missouri and Iowa. There's also NBA, NHL, and college basketball games on tonight. So this should be a great night to sit back and watch sports which is the perfect thing to do around here since it's raining again.

This is just bizarre listening to Al Michaels on a Tuesday Night.
ReplyDeleteJust a little too much oomph on that throw. Eagles will punt.
ReplyDeleteAnd, offsides on Philadelphia. 4th and 19 and a rekick coming
That's one way to stop Desean on the punt return.
ReplyDeleteYikes. Eagles fail.
ReplyDeleteNow a Vikings fail on the challenge attempt.
ReplyDeleteI can't take my eye off this trainwreck.
ReplyDeleteThis still feels unusual.
ReplyDeleteThe Eagles O-Line isn't very good.
ReplyDeleteJust for some context, Lito Sheppard wined his way out of Philadelphia wanting money and to play every down.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, Philadelphia collectively laughed at Shepherd for dropping that one.
What a trainwreck. Both teams turning over the ball, the Philly O-Line trying to get Vick killed, and more penalties.
ReplyDeleteVick is not having a good game at all. Vikign CB ineptness has helped the Eagles tremendously in this one.
ReplyDeleteMichaels couldn't sound less enthused about going to Seattle on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThis is nightmarish on the part of the Eagles offensive line.
ReplyDeleteMessage to Andy Reid: Run a screen pass.
ReplyDeleteWhat a catch!
ReplyDeleteThe Eagles do realize they have a chance at a bye, right?
ReplyDeleteIf only the Vikings had made all of those potential picks...
ReplyDeleteGreat scramble by Joe Webb for the TD!
ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you this Justin, but your Eagles aren't that impressive either. #TheAFCisdefinitelygoingtowintheSuperBowlthisyear
ReplyDeleteI'm betting the blizzard caused Al to double or triple his bet on the Eagles -14.5....
ReplyDelete#thatswhyhesoundslikehesinacoma
Vikes recover that Vick fumble. Oh boy.
ReplyDeleteMichael Vick is the new Adrian Peterson
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I already beat Kris for the Championship because Vick has morphed into dog fighter Vick.
ReplyDeleteThey actually called a facemask on Joe Webb? #SlowClap
ReplyDeleteBTW, my niece is staying the night with me so I'm watching this game on my computer.
ReplyDeleteMichaels: "If you saw this coming, could you tell me who's winning in the 5th at Santa Anita?"
ReplyDeleteand now the Canucks are 1 up on the Flyers...
ReplyDeleteWEll if the Eagles can do 21 in 8....
ReplyDeleteMike Vick with the walk-in TD.
ReplyDeleteMichaels: "They parted the sea for him."
at the least the Eagles finally woke up
ReplyDeleteVick!
ReplyDeleteEagles needed that in the worst possible way.
You are right, Keith. Eagles are playing one of their worst games of the season today.
Akers promptly sends the kickoff out of bounds. Geez.
ReplyDeleteYou guys'll like this: June Jones has turned down Maryland....
ReplyDeleteReally, Kris? Who's Maryland down to, now?
ReplyDeleteJune Jones was never going to go to Maryland.
ReplyDeleteAdrian Peterson to the 2!
ReplyDelete@RJBO Terps are willing to go up to 4 million per year for a coach. Some think they're waiting for Malzahn..
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN AP
Touchdown Adrian Peterson!
ReplyDeleteUgh. That is all.
ReplyDeleteGreat screen to McCoy for 28 yards!
ReplyDeleteCris: "This is one of the great single runs I've seen all year."
i remember when Cris Collinsworth was sarcastic & funny, not just a giant suck up
ReplyDeleteGeez. They gave Joe Webb a great spot on that run for the 1st. Too bad Ried was out of timeouts.
ReplyDeleteon the bright side, this pretty much guarantees GB or NYG at Philly as NBC's Primetime Wild Card game
ReplyDeleteMichael Vick didn't ask for Joe Webb's autograph? #HadTo
ReplyDeleteThe Eagles bye week has come one week sooner than hoped.
ReplyDeleteIowa leading #12 Mizzou 17-10 at the half in Tempe. Can't wait for the Millen goodness I've missed watching Vikes-Eagles.
ReplyDeleteVick needs a week off. He was beat up tonight.
ReplyDelete@RJBO no Long Beach St at UCSB?
ReplyDeleteAl: "Cris saw it coming all the way, he also found Amelia Earhart last week."
ReplyDelete/Al sounds bitter about something...
@Kris: If I had to stay in Philly for two extra days, I would be bitter as well.
ReplyDeleteMcDonough to Millen: "It was about a 3 block trip (on the DirecTV bus). I was assuming you could go that long without eating."
ReplyDeleteBlaine Gabbert with his best Drew Brees impersonation.
ReplyDeletePick 6 by Micah Hyde for Iowa.
Hyne with the pick 6 for Iowa.. & a great call from McDonough.
ReplyDelete*Hyde
ReplyDelete/what I get for not watching much Big 10 this year
Agreed on McDonough's call, Kris. It almost makes up for Millen's Three Stooges joke. #NotReally
ReplyDeleteWow! TJ Moe on 4th down! Great catch!
ReplyDeleteBUT IT'S OVERTURNED! IOWA BALL!
