Big Monday Open Thread
College hoops, NBA, NHL all tonight along with unfortunately the 49ers vs. Cardinals Monday Night Football game. My question for tonight, why doesn't the NFL give ESPN to flex out of games like the Cardinals-49ers late in the season? I'm a 49ers fan and even I don't want to watch this game. I love the old conspiracy theory that the NFL is still mad at ESPN for airing 'Playmakers' back in 2003 so the NFL punished ESPN by giving NBC the option to flex out of games for Sunday Night instead of ESPN for Monday night. Whatever the reason why ESPN can't flex out of crappy games like tonight, I hope this changes by next season. Enjoy whatever game you're watching, leave comments, and don't be a troll.

Did Dixon just belly flop into the endzone?
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. A Brian Westbrook sighting.
ReplyDeleteThe Niners have to use Westbrook tonight because Gore is hurt.
ReplyDeleteLarry Fitzgerald: 1 catch, 6 yards. Keep up the good work, Niners defense.
ReplyDeleteRefreshing to see the 49ers actually look competent on offense.
ReplyDeleteBrian Westbrook. Not too shabby.
ReplyDeleteYou know you are an especially bad defense when you allow Troy Smith and Brian Westbrook to completely carve you up like that.
ReplyDeleteOne of these teams will be a game within 1st place by the end of the night.

Yes! They rule that Fitzgerald play incomplete!
ReplyDeleteRegardless of whether or not he came down inbounds, he lost the ball and therefore, did not complete the process.

Good half by the 49ers.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think anymore about the NFC West. The Niners, who started the year 0-345 are now 1 game out of 1st place. They may win this division yet, if only because none of the other teams are that much better than them (better being a relative term here, of course).
