Video: Ray Lewis Lights Up Dustin Keller

So much for that Jets bravado we saw in the offseason and on Hard Knocks. The Jets were defeated 10-9 on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. In a game that was slower than pond water, the Ravens were barely better scoring the game's only touchdown in the second quarter.

While the Ravens offense was terrible, the Jets defense was flat out atrocious. The Jets only managed 176 total offensive yards and were 1-11 on third down's. Everything came to head on the final drive of the game by the Jets. It was a drive that Jets tight end Dustin Keller would like to forget. Keller was blown up by Ray Lewis on one play(The video above). On 4th down, Keller caught the ball but went out of bounds a yard short of the 1st down marker. As Mike Tirico said on the ESPN broadcast about the Jets final play, "That summarizes the Jets offense tonight." What Tirico should have said was that play summarized the entire night for the Jets. The Jets were flagged time after time for penalties. The Jets season won't get any better as they play New England on Sunday. Maybe their offense will actually show up that game and finally start backing up all the talk from the off-season.

  1. Keller must have been too dizzy to remember where he was.
