Foul Ball: A Terrible Collision, A Great Debut & Worthless Mets and Dodgers

Boston 5 Cleveland 6: The Indians snapped a five-game losing streak against Boston at Fenway Park, but the victory came with a price. Indians prized catching prospect Carlos Santana seriously injured his leg in the seventh inning when Red Sox Ryan Kalish collided with him at home. It was one of the most gruesome injuries I've ever seen and it couldn't happen to a worse city. Poor Cleveland, not a good couple of months 60 years.

Tampa Bay 4 Detroit 2: Heralded Rays prospect Jeremy Hellickson made his debut Monday night and ended the Twins eight-game winning streak. Hellickson pitched seven innings giving up three hits, two runs, two walks, a home run, and struck out six to record his first win of his career. Matt Joyce drove in two runs for the Rays to go along with RBIs from Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford.

Los Angeles 5 San Diego 10: The Dodgers are completely worthless.

New York 6 Toronto 8: Blue Jays Travis Snider hit six doubles against the Yankees on Monday night tying a AL-record. Two of Snider's doubles came in the fifth inning where the Blue Jays hung eight-runs on Arrogant Jerk Burnett.  Brandon Morrow picked up the win despite giving up seven hits, five runs in 5 1/3 innings of work once again proving wins for pitchers are worthless.

Atlanta 4 New York 1: Johan Santana struck out 11 batters and still picked up the loss. Think Johan regrets being traded to New York from Minnesota for he could have a bigger payday? Tim Hudson gave up six hits, one run in six innings of work to pick up the victory. Newly acquired Rick Ankiel drove in two runs and Larry Chipper Jones homered.

St. Louis 4 Houston 9: All the Astros had to do was trade Roy Oswalt and Lance Berkman and they would start winning? Why didn't they trade Oswalt and Berkman sooner? The Astros exploded for seven runs in the last two innings lead by a Jeff Keppinger who had four RBIs in the game. Brett Wallace drove in his first run for the Astros in the game.

Create a Caption: I loved this headline from SB Nation. "Rocco Baldelli Attempting Another Comeback, But Now He's Mustachioed"

Video of the Day: This is the famous home run by Will Clark against the Cubs where he read Greg Maddux's lips seeing what pitch he would throw next.
