Rejoice!!!! Rejoice!!!! 49ers coach Mike Singletary just announced that Shaun Hill will be the starting quarterback once the season starts. Ask any 49ers fan who they wanted as the starting quarterback and they would say Hill. While he isn't more physically gifted as Alex Smith, he's a great leader.

Once again I will say it. If Shaun Hill can lead Maryland(a basketball school) to an BCS game, then why can't he lead the 49ers? Obviously Singletary wised up about this decision and choose the guy who lead him to the Niners coaching job. Now if you excuse me, I have to go out and celebrate!
