Foul Ball is your daily baseball recapYesterday the court ruled that the investigators were wrong to seize the MLB drug list. Yes the same list that featured David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, A-Rod, and Sammy Sosa. This stems from the original BALCO case that involved Barry Bonds. Interesting read for any baseball fan.
4 Philadelphia 1 Pittsburgh in 10: Ryan Howard hit a tiebreaking three-run home run in the top of the tenth to give Philly the victory. Brandon Moss hit Pittsburgh's first pinch-hit home run of the season off of Ryan Madson. That is truly an amazing stat. But after all, we are talking about the Pirates.
3 Boston 2 Chicago: David Ortiz juiced up and hit two home runs against the White Sox. His last home run of the night was a walkoff. That was Oritz's tenth walkoff home run in his career with the Red Sox. With the Rangers loss to the Yankees, the Red Sox improved their Wild Card lead to 2 1/2 games.
4 Los Angeles 2 Detroit: The Angels snapped their three-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over Detroit. Torii Hunter hit an early two-run home run off of Tigers pitcher Edwin Jackson. Joe Saunders returned to the Angels rotation after being out from an injury to pick up the victory. Before the game, the Tigers optioned pitcher Andres Galarraga to Triple-A to rest his elbow. They called up Nate Robertson, who has been injured for the entire season.

9 Chicago 4 Washington: Livan Hernandez keeps getting opportunities with teams and keeps proving why he doesn't deserve them. Hernandez went six innings giving up five hits and two runs in his return to Washington. When he's not accusing the Cubs fans of hating him, Milton Bradley homered and drove in three runs in the game.
4 San Francisco 3 Arizona: I hated this game. It was a typical Giants game. Jonathon Sanchez pitches his guts out, but the lineup doesn't support him with any runs. Then the Giants finally decide to start scoring and the relief pitcher picks up the victory. Bengie Molina limped out of the dugout to hit a game-winning three-run home run.
6 Los Angeles 1 Colorado: The Rockies finally lost a game. Suck bag Randy Wolf went 7 1/3 innings giving up five hits and one run. Actually just kidding about Randy Wolf. He was pretty good during his time in Philadelphia. Andre Either hit two home runs in the game for the Dodgers.
4 Cleveland 2 Kansas City: Interesting story came out of this game. A car crashed into the Indians team bus while the Indians where on their way to the ballpark in Kansas City. Matt LaPorta hit his second home run since being called up in the game. Grady Sizemore, the only player the Indians actually didn't trade, reached base four times in the game.
