Foul Ball: Vote Pablo!

Foul Ball is your daily baseball recap

VOTE FOR PABLO SANDOVAL FOR THE LAST SPOT ON THE NL ALL-STAR TEAM.

7 Marlins 0 Giants: Fuck this game and Vote for Pablo or he will kick your ass! Or at least he will kick Shane Victorino's ass!

5 Orioles 3 Mariners: Baltimore is making this last inning comeback thing look easy. Down 3-0 to in the ninth inning, the Orioles scored five runs to win the game. Of course Mariners 2nd baseman Jose Lopez helped them by committing two errors in the ninth. Ty Wiggington drove in the game winning runs.

10 Rockies 4 Nationals: Boy the Natinals suck! Everything about them stinks. The pitching staff gave up 10 runs and 14 hits to the Rockies. Their defense committed three errors. Two alone by Adam Dunn. The Natinals are a major league worst 24-58 on the season. They can't even spell their team name right.

4 Braves 1 Cubs: Ken Kawakami went six innings giving up only four hits to the Cubs in the Braves win. It got real bad for the Cubs in the ninth inning. The Braves were able to score two runs in the ninth because of an error and a wild pitch committed by the Cubs. Needless to say the friendly confines didn't become so friendly to the home crowd.

At least Cubs fans don't believe in curses or anything like that.

3 Tigers 1 Royals: The Tigers scored three runs off of Zach Greinke in the first two innings for their only runs of the game. Then some guy named Luke French was able to go 6 1/3 innings giving up six hits and one run for the Tigers. Even better was Fernando Rodney not do his normal high-wire act in the ninth inning.

8 Rangers 1 Angels: When did Andruw Jones become relevant again? Well last night put Jones back in the spotlight. Jones blasted three home runs against the Angels to help Texas beat the Angels and take over first place in the AL West. In total Jones had four RBI's in the game.

5 Mets 4 Dodgers: Hey the Mets won! Hey the Mets actually scored runs! Hey Oliver Perez actually won a game! The Mets pitching staff actually held the Dodgers to four runs and nine hits. The Dodgers left 12 men on base in the game.
