Foul Ball is your daily baseball recapThe Mets-Rockies game was postponed.
1 Giants 0 Pirates in 10: Watching this game was like watching paint dry. But you did get see one hell of a pitchers dual between all-star pitchers Zach Duke and Matt Cain. Duke went seven innings giving up six hits and no runs for the no decision. Cain went nine innings giving up three hits and no runs for the no decision. Randy Winn singled in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Earlier in the day the Pirates traded Jack Wilson, then after the game the Pirates traded Freddy Sanchez to the Giants.
3 Mariners 2 Blue Jays: O.k. never mind, don't trade for Roy Halladay. Halladay lost to the Mariners giving up 11 hits and three runs in seven innings. Jose Lopez homered and Ken Griffey Jr. double in two runs. Halladay had the quote of the day about if he was going to be traded or not.
Roy Halladay Quote, from the AP: “I’m going to lock myself in a room and hide,” the Blue Jays’ trade-weary ace deadpanned. I guess you would be frustrated to, if you didn't know where you were going to be playing next.
3 Cardinals 2 Dodgers in 15: The Dodgers have hit the wall. They have lost four straight and are struggling in St. Louis. Colby Rasmus drove in the ting run in the ninth inning off of Jonathon Broxton. Matt Kemp then drove in the go-ahead run for the Dodgers in the eleventh inning. Only to see Ryan Ludwick tie the game once again. Then in the fifteenth Albert Pujols hit a game-winning single.

8 Red Sox 6 A's: The Red Sox have also hit the wall. The A's put a five spot on the Red Sox in the first inning, including a Adam Kennedy home run. The A's would add three more runs in the game to beat Boston. Five different A's players drove in runs in the game and Brett Anderson picked up the win.
13 Tigers 5 Rangers: Detroit finally broke out of their slump, with a 13 run breakout. Curtis Granderson homered twice to go along with Marcus Thames and Miguel Cabrera home runs. Justin Verlander went seven innings giving up six hits, four runs, and 13 strikeouts. Texas struck out a total of 18 times last night.
3 Twins 2 White Sox: Alexi Casilla drove in two runs for the Twins just a month after being called up to the majors. Four different Twins pitchers combined to give up six hits, two runs, and four strikeouts.
