Foul Ball is your daily baseball recap4 Giants 2 Pirates: This game was so bizarre that it is hard to describe. Before the game even started the news leaked that the Giants picked up Ryan Garko in a trade. Then the Giants honored the late-great Sue Burns with a tribute wich came with an appearance from Barry Bonds. Then the game actually started. In the 2nd inning the Giants scored three runs off of errors and a ball that should have been called an out(video below). Then the grounds crew had to come out in the eighth inning to repair the pitching mound. The Giants eventually beat the Pirates. Tim Lincecum dazzled as he pitched a complete game, striking out 15 batters.
Sorry for the poor quality of video, but you have to watch this play. They called Randy Winn safe when in reality he was out.
14 Nationals 6 Brewers: What the hell has gotten into the Washington Nationals? First they take two out of three games from the Mets, then they blast the Brewers last night. Josh Willingham hit two grand slams in the game. This was the 13th time, a baseball player has hit two grand slams in a game.
7 Mets 3 Rockies: After a bizarre press conference earlier in the day, the Mets went out on the field and beat the Rockies. Also on the same night that a player hit two grand slams, Fernando Tatis(The only player to hit two grand slams in the same inning) hit a pinch-hit game-winning grand slam.

4 Cubs 1 Astros in 13: And for our encore of grand slams, the Cubs Alfonso Soriano hit a game-winning grand slam in the 13th inning to beat division rival Astros. Every run scored in the game came off home runs. Both Carlos Lee and his brother Derek Lee homered in the game. Carlos Zambrano and Wandy Rodriguez both went seven innings and pick up the no-decisions for their respective clubs.
6 Reds 4 Padres: Homers galore in this game. A total of six home runs were hit. The Reds actually scored enough runs for Homer Bailey to pick up the win. Bailey picked up the win despite giving up six hits and three runs.
5 Rangers 2 Tigers: Nelson Cruz hit a home run in this game, that still hasn't landed yet. Micheal Young would add another home to help the Rangers pick up the victory. This was the first Rangers victory over Detroit in seven games this season. Tommy Hunter went seven innings for the first time in his career to pick up the win.
8 Indians 6 Angels: Victor Martinez hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning to erase a two-run deficit as the Indians came back to beat Anaheim. Kerry Wood came into the game and pick up the save, then was immediately placed on the DL(just kidding).
