Even TMZ Has Standards

One of the breaking stories over the weekend, besides a 59-year old with a chance to win the British Open, was that Erin Andrews privacy had been violated.

While Ms. Andrews was staying at a hotel in Los Angeles for the ESPY Awards, some hotel staff employer video taped her through what was believed to be a peephole. Ms. Andrews and ESPN have already filed a lawsuit against the perpetrators for a clear violation of privacy. The story has made the rounds and is even number one on the google trends. Also don't watch the suppose video of Ms. Andrews undressing because it is being used to spread computer viruses.

Well more news has came out from this story. TMZ has reported that the person who shot Ms. Andrews in her hotel room is trying to sell the video. Also it wasn't a peephole that they were shooting through. It was some sort of spy cam shot through a hole in the wall. But TMZ does have standards and they have refused to show the video or to purchase the video.

"We will not publish the video nor did we purchase it. It's a clear invasion of privacy. But this is what we can tell you.

It appears the video was shot from some sort of spy cam. It looks as if someone drilled a small hole in her hotel room from an adjoining room.

The camera is clearly being operated by someone. It follows Erin as she moves about her room.

It looks like a high-end hotel, but Erin's people claim they have no idea where or when it was shot.

It's also clear Erin has absolutely no idea she's being videotaped."
Look I admit that I have a huge crush on Erin, but I would never in a million years drill a whole in the wall to video tape her(only if she allowed me). That is just a creepy thing to do and it's something I would expect a teenager to do. Whoever this person is, they are clearly a scumbag who is only looking to make a profit. And clearly no one is buying. If TMZ is saying no to you, then that videotape is going nowhere. They broke the law by violating her privacy and I hope they are punished for it.
