Tim Lincecum receives his Cy Young Award today as he takes the mound for the Giants. The Giants take the field with a different look. Edgar Renteria, Pablo Sandoval, Travis Ishikawa, and Emmanuel Burris take the field as an whole new infield.
The outfield will be the same with Fred Lewis, Aaron Rowand, and Randy Winn. Bengie Molina is still the catcher.
The young players this year though will have to step up. Sandoval can hit anything and will swing at anything, but he has to be more patient at the plate. Ishikawa has to provide some type of power to this lineup. Also Fred Lewis has to keep improving from his solid year last season.
