It has been confirmed that J.T. O'Sullivan has visited with the Cincinnati Bengals about their vacant backup spot at the quarterback position.
Of course 49ers fans are still having nightmares about O'Sullivan after last years debacle.
When Mike Nolan hired Mike Martz to be the new offensive coordinator, he gave the entire offense to Martz. And the mad scientist just had to put his guy O'Sullivan as the starting quarterback.
In nine games O'Sullivan threw eight touchdowns and 11 back-breaking interceptions. After Nolan was showed the door, Mike Singeltary finally put a bullet in the O'Sullivan can be a starting quarterback campaign.
O'Sullivan was just terrible. Not only did he throw interceptions, but he fumbled the ball a lot too.
That Philadelphia game still gives me nightmares. The 49ers built up a comfortable lead against the Eagles and then Just Turnovers O'Sullivan blew the game by throwing two key interceptions and one which was returned for a touchdown.
He was just horrible and lets hope the door doesn't hit O'Mulligan in the ass as he walks out.
